    It was innovative of the airline staff suggesting baby food and mashed potatoes. But then don't go around laughing off the passenger's situation with other colleagues atleast not in front of the camera!

    Anybody else watch these and think what a simple, straight forward happy time it was? Without phones, without Twitter, without Instagram, without constant phones in your hands, without stupid tiktok. Without women with oil in their butt, lip fillers,
    Just a simple happy time, with simple tech. Life seemed a lot a lot more content back then, even though we have so many luxuries at our disposal now - strange isn’t it ?

      I mean I remember playing a lot outside growing up. I mean we still had a tonne of tv time and video games, but I guess there wasn't any smart phones and good internet connection we could access wherever and whenever, I remember getting my first flip phone in secondary school. It wasn't a big deal as you couldn't really do much on them anyway.

    Things sure have changed. Once the flight has boarded, you can't just come back off for a few minutes and then get back on anymore. Plus, we probably wouldn't inform passengers of a five minute delay, as that's easily made up once in the air, and people panic about even such a little delay.

The Americans are very much of this practice, even doing their Pets before leaving them locked in a Crate all day. I have Friends who do this and think it is Best for the Pets! Wrong. The number of killjoys in this comments section getting offended just because of the whole "laughing about the man who's not able to eat solid food" is troubling. No wonder why people are so dry nowadays. YES, the poor bloke's got sinus/throat problems; but he was a really good sport about the baby food idea, and one way to cope through a stressful situation is by joking.
    So can someone who actually has a sense of humor please bash me out of my sleep and take me back to the 80s/90s when people were able to take a bloody joke instead of being permanent crybabies/complainers like today.

      What's that old saying "f*ck 'em if they can't take a joke". Everyone reacts so violently though these days I'd be afraid to make most any poke fun these days!

My mum had one for around 15-20 years before it died last year, then she bought a new one. She uses it for mashing potatoes, parsnips, soups Etc.

So very unprofessional and frankly, it doesn't give a good impression of him as person, nor the Airline. I am surprised he wasn't hauled up for that once his employers saw it on film. This is a very old episode because business class hasn't looked like that for a long time, and also, I don't think you get personal concierge service now. You might in First but not in business.

    • @margaretmathis4775
      @margaretmathis4775 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When we flew most recently last year (USA), we saw lots and lots of wheelchairs……deserted in the parking lot at our local regional airport. They were labeled with the names of various airlines or airport services - just haphazardly left here and there. Not sure if the parking lot was w/c accessible, but most people drove curbside to load or unload their handicapped passengers. I was shocked because, while we were inside the terminal area, they were paging for “wheelchairs needed.” There were none, because they were strewn through the parking lot (I did notify someone). I suspect that some passengers use the wheelchairs to carry their bags to the car, and leave them there like shopping carts (our airport doesn’t provide baggage trolleys).
