A story that Steve-O left out (and it makes sense, as it's not really a family-friendly story) is that he attempted suicide shortly before meeting and adopting Wendy. The energy that dog has and the love and trust she showed for Steve-O is (maybe) one of the reasons he is still with us today. Thank you, Moon Pie Thank you, Wendy. Thank you, Steve-O Thank you, WeRateDogs
You can tell a lot about someone's character by how they treat animals, and how animals react to them. By this measure, SteveO is a tremendous human being. Much love to him and his animals. ❤
I think we can collectively agree, that the reason the Wendy video is so universally beloved is found in it being a perfect storm of positive emotions. You have: - Steve-O being happy, sober and healthy - Wendy being happy - Steve-O being his unfiltered self - Adventure - a good outcome for everyone involved - just the right amount of impulsiveness - a foreign setting - Steve-O doing Steve-O things, that are not self-destructive, but nontheless all-in, like staying in a tent to keep Wendy company - Everyone being 100% real, no acting or doing something "for the camera" It's basically a soul-bleach in a remarkably pure form. You can feel good for everyone involved.
I love all your walks, but have to say, this has been my favorite. Hats off to the cat (14/10), Moonpie, Wendy, Drake and the rest of the goats, the piggies, the chickens to be, the cows to be and their wonderfully funny and endearing animal dad.
This was the most touching dog walk of them all. Glad you made it through, Steve-O. Years ago, your stunts inspired my son to be his worst self. Through this walk, I can see how you inspire people to become their best selves.
I've never thought much about Steve O (wasn't a huge Jackass fan) but this has really made me appreciate him. He's walking through life, fighting battles every day and he has the fortitude to bring animals (which require love and attention) along for the ride. I love that they help him and it's clear he's helping them. #ilovesteveo
Oh wow, Wendy is still around! That's wonderful! I love that despite how wild he was in Jackass, and I guess continues to be professionally, Steve-O ultimately is just a super chill softy. He's living the dream; buy a big property, rescue animals. Hell yeah.
Not sure why Moonpie was returned for playing too rough with a pug… 10 seconds later she’s biting the shit out of a cat. Yeah I don’t see it either, Steve-O.
I second this, but not sure about a walk in Maine during the winter months. Even if the forecast says it's a good week to film it, it can change to quickly up there. Maybe in the spring, though
I was entertained, but I was also very worried about Steveo years ago. Addiction doesn't lose very often. It is so great to see him healthy, happy, and doing what he can to help animals. Also, if you have the right sense of humor, his tour is amazingly funny. I wish nothing but the best for Steveo, Wendy, and Moonpie.
I smiled through this entire video like a huge goober. It is so obvious how much Steve-o loves his animals. I wish only the best for his endeavors and his animal rescues. What an awesome life for them and for him. 🐾💛💙
This is so fun and sweet, I’m so happy Steve-O and his delightful pet family live in TN with me 💕If you need snuggles, a rescue Pittie is definitely what you want!
At 50 I contracted bacterial meningitis, which triggered a cascade of autoimmune and neurological disorders. Overnight everything I thought made me who I am as an adult was gone. The dogs I’ve had made a huge difference in my life and helped me deal with overwhelming grief and depression. Right now, 23 years later, I’m laying in bed with my elderly Bassett hurricane rescue and starting to train our brand new very intelligent 8 month old labradoodle rescue…from my bed.
Wow, I only knew Steve-O from Jackass so I always thought of him as a bit of a jerk. I’m happy to say that my initial assessment was wrong. He surprised me by being a very nice man. Animals certainly bring out the best in most people.
Love you Man! So proud of how good you look and your real smile. Your in a real good place and Wendy is your magical guardian always on patrol, a job to serious to be cuddling. What a nice spot for a chicken coop and I see cows getting to live out life with there baby’s and geese rescued from foie gras, and your probably gonna need a donkey, just cuz there too cute!
Not Cesar Milan. He's a red flag to the point the professional association of dog trainers had a thing on their website about him. His training method is essentially scaring the dogs into doing what he wants. That's horrible.
It was the drugs and the people around him that influenced him to do stupid stuff, cause thats what made them money. He's in a better environment and is healthier overall now. I'm happy he's gotten better and can be his authentic self now.
Hate to say it but I lost a little respect for Steve for being affiliated with Peta. Theyre not animal activists, they're PoS that have no problem stealing animals and their shelters have an ungodly high kill count

Dogs save lives
😢 I didn't know that. Dogs have positive energy. If they don't, it's usually caused by humans.

So many lost to substance abuse and mental health struggles. It’s really great to see Steve-O made it out. ❤️

How this channel doesn't have millions of subscribers is a mystery to me. Videos like this really should warrant those kinds of numbers!
i agree strongly
We gotta share them and spread the word!!
For the life of me I don’t understand it either! All I can say is, that I believe this channel will get there!

So cool to see that Steve O has such compassion for animals. What a great walk choice!
I really like sober Steve-O, glad he survived! Renaming a rescue dog, esp one who was treated poorly, is a good thing!
I really enjoyed watching the dog having zoomies the whole time. So much fun
Sober Steve-O is a really good guy! This was a very entertaining video!
I'm so happy that he's gotten better. He sounds like he lives a dream life.
This was a really great thing to watch today. Thanks!

"The more I changed my lifestyle to incorporate compassion into it, the better I felt about myself" = Wow...
The number one dog of the week. Stevos cat

If Wendy is malinois x xanax, Moonpie is pitbull x adderall
“Does he know what I do?” took me out 😂🥹
Next should be Stephen King and his dog Molly aka "The Thing of Evil".
I second this, but not sure about a walk in Maine during the winter months. Even if the forecast says it's a good week to film it, it can change to quickly up there. Maybe in the spring, though
Afterthought: Unless they are snowbirds for the winter
@@lf2092 Stephen King no longer lives in Maine. They are in FLA now.

This is so great! Love seeing this side of him and all the animals are clearly happy
What an absolutely wonderful video. I was directed here from your blusky post.
I'm obsessed with Steve-O's dogs too

So cute! My Dad used to like to watch Jack Ass when I was a kid 😂 Its nice to see such a differnt side to Steve-o

I love these dogs so much and Steve O encompasses true compassion.
Aww Steve O so happy to see him still here he looks happy. Thank u puppies goats and all the animals that help keep him here with us. ❤❤❤🐾🐾🐾🐐💕✌️
MoonPie looks like my Staffy, and acts just like him too. What a cutie!
WeRateDogs and The Asher House would go so hard - just saying
Dogs are just the most precious things that exist ❤
Steve-O is an awesome dude. My buddy and I met him after his show in 2022 super nice guy!

12 out of 10 with Steve-O. He's turned out to be an amazing man! Thank you! ❤🎉
Matt I just got your Thoughts of Dog 2025 desk calendar! I can’t wait for the new year to begin! 🥰🙏🏻
Moon pie, right on cue.
I loved when she was taking the skateboard from him. She's like "No dad! That's dangerous! Let me do it!"
Steve-o has moved on from his early career into a bonafide national treasure.
Wonderful. Finding out how decent people can be makes any day a good day.
“I’ve never seen it,”
Narrator: Moon Pie then proceeded to body slam Rocky the barn cat.

“Wendyta”, wonderful diminutive en español 👌 15:56
You should do Paris Hilton next! Similarly to steve in the past known for being controversial. But she truly loves her animals!
Wendy! I remember watching the TH-cam series where Steveo took her in ❤❤
This is giving me all the feels
He should seriously teach Moon Pie how to skateboard.
Wendy is MVP
You've got to pay visits to Lee Asher, and Takis from Takis Shelter. Maybe even Ceasar Millan.

Steve O has done well coming from where he was! And I love the animal activism he has done. I still think moonpie is a stupid name for a dog tho
Amazing!

Steve-O is completely unlikable, so those dogs are doing EXTRA work
Y'all should try to get an interview with Annabelle Wallis. She adopted her two dogs.🩷
