HSTC can induce a false sense of confidence in hairy situations, like banked midway into a curve and a patch of loose gravel is suddenly in your path. HSTC can protect you when the slippage direction is linear, but not when you're traversing an arc and the slippage direction is lateral. It's the same with ABS. Both systems rely on the quality of tire adhesion.🤕
