My downtown coming soon....super excited for first maxiscoot....got the chance of having kymco super8 before and lasts for 8 years...i called it the pick up bike becoz of loading 2 sacks of 50kg rice many times...hopefully this maxi will not disaapoint me...thanks for the review

Kymco is starting to mark its territory as one of the most reliable brands in the 300+ cc scoots in the country. Sir Zac, just want to commend you for featuring this bike in the most detailed way. You already have recap of pros and cons at the last part of the segment.please continue to do it in the coming moto features. One suggestion though, you may also add riding experience feedback with a back ride. Btw, it's because of your motofeature with xtown, i decided to buy one, and it's giving me pleasure everytime i ride it. Thanks!

250cc with weight limit at expressway!! Sana mabago na ung rule na 400cc up only. Sayang ung mga 250cc na mabibigat pa kesa sa 400cc up na motorcycles.

Agree with your displacement wishful thinking. Or at least 300cc highway rule. Those displacements can safely comply with 60km/h min and 100km/h max speed requirements. I mean, at the end of the day, road safety greatly relies on the rider and not the engine size. Better business pa sa mga toll operators kasi added rfid customers yon.
So when will the talks for lowering the cc requirement in expressway be started again? Last update was i think late 2019. Hopefully they can begin talking about it this year. Sayang yung mga motorcycle options na katulad nito.

Personally, kung me pera lang ako, kotse na lang bibilhin ko, yung pick up na. Sa motor talagang kahit anong safety mo, meron at merong mga 4 wheels na walang respeto sa kapwa. Sa ibang bansa kasi merong batas at maayos ang kanilang transportation pagdating sa mga naka-2 wheels. Dito sa atin kasi butas-butas na ang batas, pati mga tagapagpatupad Ng batas ang number one na hindi sumusunod.
Napaka astig ng scoot na ito pero nalungkot parin ako at the end of the review. Bwisit kasi na 400cc up na standard sa expressways ng pinas e! Gumising sana sila at reevaluate. 2021 na uy! Kahit mga 155cc na motor ang bibigat na. Baka pwede na ang 300cc up.
