Compared to my embden goslings, the runners are not as skittish but chill. I can change the water, food and scoop off bedding without them freaking out. The runners are also not so needy and whiney. They're just doing their own thing most of the time. So far so good and easy to take care of but I'm only a little over 1 week with them. Runners are hyper! From day 1, I could swear that I was raising monkeys or gerbils.
That’s funny! My white Chinese goose loves me and the runners give me tons of space. They definitely do their own thing lol. I’ve got two runner ducklings and two call ducklings that will be joining the flock soon

I have 6 Indian runners and they’re very good pets! They’re also good for fertilizing your yard!😂😃
They do an amazing job fertilizing lol. I did the math with my whole flock and it came out to roughly 250,000 poops a year lol

There are tons and tons of domestic breeds! It mostly depends on what you want to raise them for.

I have a question, I have Indian runner ducks as well. At about what time do they start laying eggs?
Mine started around 6-7 months and it took another couple weeks to a month for it to be pretty regular
