@@micland360 i mean negative titles generate engagement ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the amount of stuff that happens naturally on a farm is huge. that's why argentinian gauchos don't have 2 great dogs, but 2 great and 6 extras just in case. I can't believe Morgan made that duck feeding noise with his cheek! 🤪 I tried to replicate it but couldn't do it. He truly goes above & beyond to make these videos informative & entertaining.
I'm so impressed with the progress in cinematography you've made since I started to watch you all those years ago. People look at me weird when I proudly say that one of my favourite youtubers is a farmer from the USA. You are the only farm youtuber I watch because you're content is so oryginal it speaks to me on so many levels. I'm so glad I've seen your journey and I'm exited to see whats coming. You are one of those creators that are reminiscen of the old TH-cam where the people making videos seemed much closer to their audiences. You, Morgan, are a man of passion and everyone sees it. There were some hiccups along the way but its normal and you've handled it better than many others would. You're a treasure. Keep up the great work and give us the content we crave but most importantly have a great time doing it. Best wishes from Europe.
I just got 3 blue runners, always wanted some because they look like little soldiers running around and I’m hoping they aren’t to flighty and my kids are constantly holding them. I yell “bedtime ducks” and they’d go in their coop. I also got 3 call ducks when I got the runners. Awe I hope Abby heals quickly ❤️🩹
Ducks are creatures of habit. My husband yells “los patitos” (the little ducks) and I say “a mimin duckies” (mimin is a way to say sleepy time”” in Spanish) and they know is bed time. Even if we aren’t they go to their house on their own. But every time we change anything they don’t like it at all lol
Runner ducks actually make amazing pets, it just depends on where you got them and their genetics. My first ducks were runner ducks and I didn't handle the as much as I needed to (when they were babies), but they were the FRIENDLIEST ducks I've ever had. Each morning they would wait for me and would get very excited when they would see me. Then during the day, when I would do all of my chores, they would just follow me everywhere and always waiting to be pet.
My cats aren't very picky about what they eat but I am picky about what I feed them. I feel good about feeding them Open Farm cat food for them and for the humane care animals they eat received. I'm grateful that they sponsor you and, in that way, I learned about them.
The different sounds of the farm are so calming and relaxing to listen to, like when the ducks climb the board to go back to their houses or when they are filtering through the mud. I could listen to it all day!
Randomly stumbled across this channel a few months ago. I am no expert on animals never been on a farm but I love your videos so informative and funny and can tell you really care about all your animals. Such a great underrated channel thanks for the amazing content.
I love the pond. I really hope some of it makes it through the summer. It is really beautiful to see the ducks and geese enjoy the pond. They are creatures of habit and I think giving them a constant makes for a much happier healthier duck or goose. I love the way you get them up and put them to bed and I think they all appreciate it as well. The new calves are so adorable. I love the breed of cattle that you have.
I have a pair of runners and they are absolutely hilarious. They're the best entertainment and education for my kids and I just couldn't be without them ❤ btw we have managed to tame them, it only took about 3 months. They eat from my hand now.
Absolutely loved the footage in the Duck Hut, via the Runner Duck! When I had my Pom fixed I bought her a Dog Donut Collar from Amazon to go around her neck, because she hated the Cone, & destroyed it.
Love this video! Runner ducks was my first duck breed and my first poultry species! They won over my heart so fast and got me into the world of poultry ❤
If I ever find myself in Vermont, I’d love to come see Morgan. I would literally spend the whole day helping him around the farm and making memories with Toby and Abbey dog & all the Barn kitties 😭💓
really enjoyed this installment of the "day in the life" series on your channel Morgan. Been watching your videos for about a year now and I'm totally addicted, I never miss a video and always find myself wanting to watch more. Really enjoying the way you integrate your sponsors these days since the flow is so smooth and doesn't cut away from the farm action. Thanks as always for posting!
Poor Abby has to wear the cone of shame, lol, but I gotta say she's handling it like a trooper. You can almost feel the difference now that spring has arrived at Gold Shaw Farm, and I'm sure the cattle are looking forward to more space. Great vlog, gotta love those Runner Ducks. Thanks Morgan!
I enjoy your narration of the farm so much!! I’m 53 raised on a farm/ ranch, vet tech for 30+ years. Ducks are one of my favorites 😁 Large dogs can twist their stomach easily so giving wet food is great!! I’m enjoying watching you learn. Rabbits, goats/ sheep, pigs and horses are a must. Have a great day. sending hugs to you and your beautiful wife from TEXAS!
Funny story about my Wheaton Terrier pup...named Oliver. He had a cut on his paw....and he wouldn't stop licking it. We took him to the VET and the vet put a cone on him. Our Oliver wouldn't move.....at all. He would just stand still. We had to carry him out side to do business.....we had to carry him everywhere for 2 whole weeks. It was exhausting. Now anytime Oliver acts out....we say "you don't want me to put the cone back on ya.....do ya?" It's a running joke in our family.
You need to get in contact with aqua scape, they make natural ponds, that could make your farm look much better, and they are very low maintenance. They might even build it for free, they have done it with a lot of TH-camrs

We highly recommend Quail for anyone even in an apartment that wants to try farming or being self sustaining. They only need a little space. Think a spare room, a garage, a basement etc. they are full grown at 6 to 8 weeks and will lay eggs daily at this time. A small inexpensive incubator means you can continuously grow your own viable meat source. We use an easy clean cage system. Utilizing free newspaper on trays clean up only takes about five minutes a day. You can learn all you need to know on YT ❤️ God bless
