I've been running a HP Vista desk top for years and it's been literally faultless, the animations and graphics are brilliantly rendered, and the menus are so wonderfully developed you can alter pretty much any aspect of how the pc is running. It just does everything I throw at it without any fuss or issues. The real problem Vista had at its launch was that the pc's of the time weren't powerful enough to run Vista properly and so it ran painfully slow on them, by the time pc manufacturers caught up the damage had been done with the publics perception of the os. It'll be interesting to see if 8.1 is looked at more favourably in the future, like Vista is now, when people realise how greatly improved it is over 8.
I've loved Vista and I still use it to this day. Windows 11 was a disappointment to me, due in part that when they revealed it, so many features that were scrapped after Vista are making a return. And it felt very backwards/backhanded to the people like me that praise Vista. I think that Vista was VERY ahead of its time and to prove that, the fact that some of the major features of Windows 11 are improved versions that were introduced in Vista. To me, Windows 11 is just an uglier version of Vista as in my opinion, the flat design trend has overstayed its welcome. It's solid, beautiful and snappy. I can't wait to see Microsoft roll back to the Vista design language, it seems like there's a lot of people crying out against this flat trend. If they could just re-release Vista and modernize it, Microsoft would have a VERY solid operating system to tout, barnone.
@@themyersfan57 They simply didn’t have a money computer at the time, and were confused by their new computers being slow. Also, driver issues aren’t fun, but they probably don’t know a lot about computers anyways. Linus said Vista was misunderstood and I agree, that’s a great way to put it.
Vista is a pretty stable OS with latest SP, my personal favorite by far. But beware of 7 and XP fanboys. Just a heads up. Anyways subscribed.

i wish vista was supported for longer. i want a laptop from 2020 that runs Windows Vista Ultimate SP2.
