Was a great experience playing against you as a relativily new player. Only WebWings Empire on our team had some experience. You are a multitask maniac/god at this game haha, totally fine getting obliterated by that 😅
One guy literally has to tower rush, one guy fast castle into knights. The rest can do feudal scouts and archers rush. If you let Hera to settle then you loose.
Exactly what I've said previously, Hera should be rushed by 3 or 4 players and 1 or2 sit back and boom. Extra pop cap makes no difference as Hera should never be allowed to get over 200 in the first place.
In this case, since he was literally only making Monaspa, making mass spearman-line units would have probably worked as well. Especially if they remembers to get the armour 🛡 upgrades for them first.
Though, Dark Age rushing and/or tower rushing would be a great idea for at least 1 person to do in pretty much every map for the setting, as even just making him quick wall will severely delay his gameplan.
Also, the other team will be *much, much* more powerful if they had video chat open for them to talk to each other about what is going on.
tower rushing isnt allowed in these games as a gentleman's rule

Do you utilize the key bind for seeing the last event notification? There were a couple times where you were trying to find what was happening/where you were being attacked and I was wondering why you were not utilizing that for any specific reason or if it's just not worthwhile in your opinion. 11 I had the same idea, main problem with like 300 vills is that they obliterate the resources way too quick, going 20 feitorias just becomes completely broken

ofcourse 1v5 makes you a better 1v1 player, you focus on the best player first, eliminate him and it's a 1v4 against newbs (like me). which is probably as hard as playing a good 1v1. it's pretty much playing two games at the same time. anyways i can't even keep my villagers busy when i have 30 so don't take anything i say too srs ;]
Hidden cup is good for viewers but unsure on letting say #1 seed or #3 going out to each other in game 1.
Seems like you may end up with no big names in the finals. Good luck tho. Would be good to see who you think your playing mid game as each player has probably slightly different play style Lix, dout, etc
There is an in game setting with which you can enable the range indicator for all buildings that shoot arrows, should also work for the fortified church. It is in options -> Game -> Building Range indicator, Always show. I have player color set as well. The terrain grid color (From Interface settings) needs to be experimented with a little. There are many other useful mods like building icons on millitary buildings which definitely helps to recogize what building it is.
If someone makes a goergian church mod, can you give them 6 months of hera sub or on patreon for free?

You could also make your total pop half of their total pop. Then you get nerfed in 1v1, as you should when playing against lower level players. In 1v2 you get the normal 200 pop. In 1v3 you get 300, 1v4 you get 400, 1v5 you get 500.
Let Challengers start Empire Wars Style, and you start Normally +50 Pop for each additional

I don't think the pop limit is a balance issue. They just didn't play good enough and let u boom. Also maybe try another civ next time

is too much. because you only have to research a single set of tech and build a single set of buildings for accessing those techs.for the enemies, each one has to spend money on tech and buildings and they have to coordinate all their armies. i think 500 would be better, maybe even 400 judging by the fact that you were already winning at 390 pop
