  • How do we dial in Tournament shots for the weekend round to get those drops?
    Special Thanks to Bobby Stoykovich, Brian Robinson for the shots in the Video!
    See Daniel McArthur slider video for a more in depth explanation of the slider discussed in this video!

    Been playing a little over a year and I’ve learned more watching the last 2 videos( EB School & This video) than the entire year of playing on my own. The info can be a bit technical, but your explanations and examples of how to apply your lessons are excellent! Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!

    Hey Jared, just want to take time out to thank you personally for the videos you post. Since watching your videos over the last 12months or so, my game has improved approximately 80% for the better. I'm so confident now using the EndBringer AND rough/sand shots. Tons of thanks again,
    Kindest regards

    Thanks Jared for great content. I've been playing quite awhile but i never understood how a drive just a few yards different had such an effect. It's going to take me awhile to really understand the math, but you gave me the info i just need to spend some time with it. I'm 68 years old so i'm an old dumb ass lol.

    This is absolutely the best description I have ever heard- you have a real ability to make the complex seem simple. Really appreciate it- wish you would do GUIDES!!! TY @jaredA

    Hi jared.. Great vid thank you. Where could i find the +yardage for each club. Thanks again

    • @JaredAGolf
      @JaredAGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Max yardage of each club you can find on the stat card of the club itself. Does that help?

    Jared,
    I have a question on plus yards. Is it consistently 62% at +0 for every power ball and club?

  • @VyolentMedia
    @VyolentMedia 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So i have a question.. How do you calculate the slider percentage for your approach-shot on par 4s before you have dropped anything (like the first time playing a hole)?? I know with Par 5s that it can't really be done other than eyeballing it because you don't know how many yards your second shot (with Sniper/Cata) is going to be.. But on par 4s, can you somehow just take the yardage you got from your drive/first shot and subtract that from the hole's total distance? (The number that is shown when PD, for example, shows us new courses on youtube-videos) and then take that number (the distance left to the hole *I'm guessing..?* ) and compare that to your second shot's club-distance?? Say you're using Grizzly9 (129y) and a P3-ball (+7%) (129 x 1.07 = 138y) and you have 100y left to hole.. If setting up your bullseye just in the middle of where you start your second shot, and where the hole is, then that should be 50y - i.e 50y of your 138y possible with grizzly(P3) which is 0.36, or 36% slider (50 / 138 = 0.36231). Is this thinking correct or am i missing something? This probably have to be calculated after you're done playing the hole and are writing down your notes - but still..

      I think you make a really good point, and something I haven’t considered before. It’s always been guess and check the first time until you get a drop. But that method could potentially work!

      @daking2152 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JaredAGolf I recently thought about this point but we don’t really know what the distance to the hole is for each tee box.

    Great video, but my biggest question is this. I know the elevation adjustment was originally for just that but now it's used primarily for over adjustments for wind effect. If you don't read anyone's notes, how do you know what percentage to use? Asking for a friend lol

    • @JaredAGolf
      @JaredAGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! The answer is simply trial and error. You pick and elevation you want to start with, and if you over or under adjust, you tweak from there. This is really the importance of dialing in shots with friends or clan mates. Once a shot a dropped from a certain percentage and elevation, you stick with that elevation and change your percentages.

    When calculating Percentage Difference Per Yard with the Cat 7 using the B52(7) I get 2.08% with the Backbone(10) I get 1.76. Is this the correct process using your method?

    • @JaredAGolf
      @JaredAGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea you are correct on the first 2, but with the Backbone 10, I’m getting 2.5% per yard because the backbone is a shorter club than the B52 for example.

    • @dshepb
      @dshepb 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      How do you figure min club. If you have Apoc(7) and B52(7) in the bag in club of Apoc(7) will be 135? With the Backbone(10) 127 would be min club for the Apoc? 180-127 = 53*1.07= 56.71. 100/56.71 = 1.76. Does the long iron effect min distance of Apoc?

    • @dshepb
      @dshepb 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I was talking about Cat 7 not Apoc 7 on my last post

    • @JaredAGolf
      @JaredAGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Min distance of all the clubs are the same, no matter what club. All drivers, Woods, long irons, short irons have the same min distance.
