Nicely laid track, what dimensions are your track sleepers, our club here are planning to put in a 7 1/4 inch , it will be a ground level track, check my videos to view our present set up.
Wood is tile batten 25mmx38mm blocks are 44 cm x 21 cm spacing are 60cm i have had no problems with it at all,small bit of batten screwed to top of block to keep the track in place,no need to make the track higher than you need (not to far to fall off)
