Best wishes and a speedy recovery on your upcoming surgery. A registered dietician once told me that he increases all his patients vitamin C intake about 500-700 mg daily after a surgery for a short period, about a week. Just during recovery. He said it speeds up tissue synthesis and repair. Liposomal Vitamin C would be better since it isn’t water soluble. Take care!
Informative as always Teik. After watching your Delaware review I liked the Prairie Waxy Commander so much I ordered a pair of Richmonds. I think the 602M is a great last for me as I can wear them with a thicker sock or as I have been rocking them now as it is still fairly warm with a pair of the Red Wings poron/leather footbeds and very thin socks. Will also be sending you positive thoughts on your upcoming eye surgery.
I love the 618 last, I have those Inferno Rambler and the fit is nice. I also like the 602M last but i have to go down two full sizes and the fit is flawless. Good luck with your surgery.
The 618 works well for me. I'm more comfortable in the 618 last than Nicks HNW. If Nicks does a 618 collab...oh man I'd be up for that. I wish Parkhurst would use thicker midsole/insoles, but i guess you have to factor its a city/office boot, or walking around town boot not a full adventure boot.
hmm, I like the Niagara 602m, I can wear thick socks with it. I fear the 618 will be too wide for me. The 602m is a bit roomy with thin socks but I like it and I made them my official Indy boot. Good luck with your eye surgery Tiek.
Teik, I like the Parkhurst brand and have not been disappointed in their lasts. But I’m still a Viberg man though that brand is rather pricey. Thanks for your great videos.
i bought the clover kudu from parkhurst and i love them. do you all put insoles in your boots? i needed some more arch support so i ended up with some running shoe insoles that fit fine, but just wondering if there's anything you all could suggest for a good insole for boots like these
I just bought a pair and it’s not a significant difference, but just enough to make them really comfortable for me. I found the original 602 to be a bit tight and they pinched my toes when I wore them for long periods of time. With the new lasts I think I may have FINALLY found an all day boot. I’m selling most of my other boots and will be rebuilding my collection with Parkhurst moving forward. For clarity I have tried Truman, whites, Oakstreet and various English boots.
I think it’s just about safe to say, that you’ve become the foremost ambassador of men’s boots here on TH-cam, Teik. Keep up the fantastic content!
I was also one of the people who asked about the last differences on your Instagram. Thank you for making this video Teik.
This is making me wish for fall weather. Soon
Nice comparison. Really nice suade kudu leathers on the boots. They look very comfortable

The 618 reminds me of Alden Trubalance
Thanks for bringing us another great video, Teik! Best wishes as you go through surgery.

They fit between the Upstate NY factory 602 and Spanish factory 602 is slightly different as well. But certainly not enough to change sizes. 👍

Thank you! Very helpful. I now feel like I can size myself better in Parkhurst-and want to! Alas . . . another pair of boots!?

How much wider does the 618 end up than the original 18? Since basically every iteration added width.
@@jonathanb5464 I’d say a good 2 or 3 mm
