To add better effect and authenticity, it would have done the show a favour by having the characters speaking the ancient language and adding subtitles for the viewers to read. I understand the actors are American or English and can't carry out the language for the entire show (episode) . The reason for the characters to speak with an American accents years later is due to the fact that they have adopted the language from being around for centuries. Would have been a nice touch. They did it with Katerina.
Jack Lloyd no one actually wants to read subtitles I prefer they speak English in these flashbacks. I want to see and hear in English of what is being said. If something good happens I would have missed it because I was trying to read the subtitles. JP knows what she is doing.
Honestly i cried when stefan killed him because it was like they defeated their final enemy. That whole episode was emotional. I had slight sympathy for him but still glad they killed him.
Qetsiyiah was powerful because even Cade could not enter the other-side and pull the souls of the damned to hell. He was only able to enter the other-side because it was collapsing.
I also wondering how Cade's enemies knew that his bones could kill him. How did there even know that devil exists. The greatest trick the devil did was convincing us that he doesn't exists.

That is why he asked Stephen to corrupt a pure soul (the female doctor) and she failed proving Cade point that everyone is truly evil. You just need to find the right temptation to bring it out.

Maybe it's the catholic in me, but I just didn't care for this sort of interpretation of Satan and Hell. I mean Cade's backstory and motivations would've been enough to make him a compelling villain. Did they have to make him the Devil? I'd like to think that he was just perceived as Satan, and he just always went along with it.

I get that Ketsia did the otherside because of her hate to Silas but then again, Cade could find these souls but when it was destroyed, Cade finally got those souls, but there's something I don't understand; in the originals, when they died, they didn't go to Cade so I'm asking myself why?! Cade's dimension as far as we know is or was (don't know if still exists) planetary in size. By the time klaus and Elijah died cade had been defeated by bonnie. So they either got absorbed into nothingness, could be in cade's dimension if it's still active or were able to find peace.
Im starting to realize that there are multiple dimensions. The other side, ancestral realm, peace, oblivion, peace, maybe even more that they never got into. Which is what makes it interesting.
When it comes to immortals of their caliber. there is no who would win if they was facing off. No one would. Both are VIRTUALLY/Physically indestructible. The question would have to be rebranded to Based off What Weapon could kill them, which have a higher survivability than the other, and from that we can then determine who’s more immortal/invincible than than the other. but there is no “immortal vs immortal who winning in a fight”. Both of their physical durability is Maxed out.
