People who never been to the tri-state area of NYC have no clue how hard this must've been. It would take multiple trips even if you are familiar with the area. This is very impressive. The skyline has changed so very much, as did our highways, etc. I'll never forget the first time I was in NYC, coming from PA, 78, coming over the Newark Bay Bridge on 78 and suddenly seeing the megalopolis of North NJ, Manhattan, and even Brooklyn. I also saw Lady 🗽 with her back to me, facing the Verazzano Bridge, greeting the world (back then people arrived by boat, into the NY harbor). If you've never been to NYC, I recommend going at least once. I'd never live in Manhattan but it's amazing to visit there.

We have 6 (or 7 if you want too see it that way) great seasons. Other great shows are canceled after 2 seasons like Mindhunter. Of course i wanted more seasons of Sopranos too, but we are blessed with what we got. The show ran to it's full potential and avoided to get stale. It ended strong and that can't be said about many shows. Also we got "Many Saints of New Ark" as a small bonus.
When I was younger I was only allowed to watch the opening credits. We used to drive from the lower east side to upstate New York every week and would go through that toll booth. I would ask my parents to go through the same one that was on tv and would get so excited to see the stickers on the ticket dispenser.
One thing that I learned on THE SOPRANOS tour about the opening credits: what you see is not in geographical order. You can’t see all the landmarks in order in a straight shot. it jumps around a bit.

Only NJ residents will detect driving from the Lincoln Tunnel to Caldwell and driving past the "DRIVE SAFELY" storage tanks in Carteret is a little out of the way. I cannot drive on the Pulaski Skyway without thinking of these opening scenes. Yes, out of sequence. But highly interesting. The very first time I saw these opening scenes and saw the ceiling of the Lincoln Tunnel I was hooked. I've been looking at those tiles for over 50 years. Missed the NY/NJ tiles in the middle though.

This is great! You might want to show the then and now side by side in split frame - instead of repeating each scene. This way, you sync the new scenes to the music and get the same musical punches. Anyhow, still great as is.
