- War Eagle Mill | Northwest Arkansas History & Delicious Flavors
Northwest Arkansas has many unique historic sites. From stops along the civil war routes to the location where Elvis received his first official military haircut this area has known a lot of unique information. But one of the most iconic is that of the War Eagle Mill. This location stood strong and served its community as a hub for farmers, a social site and much more. Today the building still is operational but the experience is a bit different. Come along and see how!

Thanks for highlighting NWA. I've lived here since 2007, and it's a great place to visit and live.
I certainly enjoyed your state every time I come through!! it is absolutely beautiful out that way and I have a couple of more videos to highlight the region. I hope that you enjoy.
I enjoyed seeing this bit of history.
That soup looks delish, more so on this cold, rainy Chicago day. Yum!
I've been to War Eagle Mill many times, but just learned some history of it I didn't know before. Thanks! If you haven't done it already, I highly recommend a walk across the bridge. It's a whole new experience you can't get from driving.
I have walked across the bridge previously, but just not on a video. It is a very unique experience! I really enjoyed.
I love watching your videos, so informative. I can't wait to get on the road myself in my van...
Thank you so much! I know that whenever you get out there, you’ll have so many fun adventures ahead of you.
Wow pretty neat, Bunny, you visit some quite interesting places
I always try to seek out unique spaces to visit in addition to more commercial ones. I think that there’s a good balance to be found out there and when you’re willing to take the time to explore if you can find some pretty significant things.
@@BunnyPlaysHere me too
I've seen that place lit up for Christmas and it's absolutely magical They use all white lights if I recall pretty
History of the mill was great, & the soup looked delicious. What a lot of treasures they have for the tourists to while away an afternoon. Stay safe Elaine from Queensland, Australia.
It’s really wonderful there. An absolutely beautiful. During different times of the year you can see the change of the leaves and then also the beauty of the green rolling Hills.
Always wanted to go. There I did not know about cavern also. Thank you so very much for taking me where I can not get there you are a blessing thank you so very much. Beautiful there. Please try to go to turpentine creek. And stay in tree house. On my wish list also maybe u can get me there. Thank you so very much u are awsome. So very brave. U are an adventure.
Now that would be a visit I would love. So cool to see and thank you for sharing. Also - potato soup and corn bread!!!!! Oh yes....definitely a meal for me. Yum Thanks for another great video...
Brand new subscriber!
The only reason I found you is because I am a new resident of Benton County, ( lived in TX 65 yrs...retired, kinda!) and the 1 friend I've made so far is taking me to the Old Mill tomorrow for lunch!
I like the way you are so detailed in your descriptions of things & the camera work is great too!
Thank you so much! And welcome to the channel. A little about me. I have been on the road for about six years traveling and sharing all sorts of interesting places to go and then also how I personally travel in my van. I try to always swing through Arkansas as a pathway state and in doing so I get a lot of really cool stuff. If you ever have any suggestions? Feel free to share them I have an ongoing bucket list and each trip through. I try to check a few things off of that.
I like to make Idaho Baked Potato Soup
Yummy that sounds delicious
That looks like a chowder almost.
Been there myself when I lived in the area, but a few years later, I was surprised to find War Eagle Mill flour being sold at a Whole Foods in Houston.
I would love some fresh cornbread.
When I was there last, they had a squirrel behind the counter that they'd let you take pics with. Stuffed of course.
Fishing ?
