Great video bro I went to buy them and I was going to let them install the lights for me for 50 bucks but once I saw your video did it myself. The only difference I did was that I didn’t unscrew open the air filter box I just un plug the sensor and the grey screw and just pulled the box out complete and then just snap it back in. I have a Tahoe so maybe it has more room to pull the whole box out complete. Thanks brother great video
Have you had any flickering issues? Thinking about purchasing these for my wife's 2015 Suburban and wanted to know if I should also buy the decoders as well. Any help is appreciated and they look great!
thanks for the video. you didn't secure the driver to anything did you? I just installed some myself last night. The kit came with zip ties and double sided tape. do you think it needs to be secured in the headlight housing somehow?
I just ordered and installed on a 17 Yukon. The bulbs have a fairly loud humming sound that is clearly audible even when the truck is running. The back of the bulb is very hot after running even for as few as 20 seconds. Thoughts? Did your bulbs hum/buzz?
Thanks for the Video, but you could have removed the whole air intake unit without taking apart in one piece. You just need to loosen the clump on the other side and pull it back to release. Disconnect the wire as well.
Good video I have the same SUV how they holding up? No problems with the bulbs or electrical problems? Also what rims do you have? Those aftermarket replicas? 22’ 20’? Or they come stock ?
Oh okay thank you! I have 20’s stock but was looking to upgrade too 22’ I saw online some replicas to like the ones in the video but don’t know how good the quality of the replicas would be, but they look like I could fit the oem hubs on the rims..don’t know if you know anything about that but thanks
Thanks Awesome, sorry another question, what did you get for the fog lights? I have a Suburban so I am guess it is similar. the manual says Fog Lamps are PSX26W
I have a few videos on the fogs also. But the dogs from ddm are their lower series led and they have a design flaw. Check out my other video. I would just order the psx26w bulbs but front a different brand for the fogs like this one. The Yukon is my brother in law's but it's good. What bulb number u order for the fogs ?? Watch my update video to the fogs. I had to get a different part number bulb
So how is the beam pattern on the road? I had aftermarket HID's in my tahoe and they were super bright, I have led's in my car now and not as bright, do a video on the DDM tuning led's on the road!!
As long as you install the leds so they are pointed left and right. Not up and down. The light output on the road will be ideal. It was a customers car unfortunately I cannot get any night time driving video
Bullets Garage I guess I can buy both hid and led kits and decide which I prefer, maybe that’s why I’m not satisfied with my current leds, I may have the bulbs facing the wrong way in the housing. Thanks for the reply
Robert Mandraccia you’re better off getting 6k hid with 55w ballast I ran led on my headlights and light output was not as bright as hid till led catch up I’ll be running morimoto hid kit

I decided to go with HID for the headlight instead of LED, because of the projector. Measured Lumens on HID from projectors is way higher than LED even though they are 50W. I did ordered LED for the fog lamps. But thanks for the answer.
hey the headlight bulb was a H11 bulb, and the difference is insane night and day!!! You get so much more light output on the street it light it up extremely well. I will also be doing the fog light bulbs but i ordered the wrong bulb i ordered a h16 but the truck actually takes a psx26w.
Well the ones I installed on the gmc have no issue with flickering. Get just the bulbs if they give you problems which I doubt they will then you can order the decoder
Thanks for the video. Does this bulb has a high voltage will mess up your car electronic ? And my friend has the same bulb in his car the fan on the bulb burn out after a year and once the fan burn out the high heat of the bulb heat up the headlight get so hot when you touch it it could crack or melt a little. What are your opinion about the 2 questions? Thank you
Faris Gabrail I believe the bulbs have a 2 year warranty so of something breaks get it replaced under warranty. As far as the heat issue. I doubt it can get that hot. There are cars that sit in Arizona sun and temp up to 115 degrees and the housings don't melt so I wouldn't worry
@@BulletsGarage , I used these same bulbs and have had issues with them turning off right after start up but while driving they usually stay on. Have you had this issue?
pedro gonzalez the link for the headlights is there. For the fogs I recommend you take out the stock bulb and check the bulb number it can be two different types of bulbs. Once u know the number u can just order it
What camera did you use in this video? Also, how are these headlights still working out for you today? I was thinking of buying these until I watched your video: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q24LVDM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A298MPJAFJ2R5R&psc=1
Thanks, I just swapped the lights out on my 2016 Yukon. Your instructions worked like a charm! These LED's sure do make a difference.
Brian Volkmann glad I could help
Are they still holding up?
@@NotoriousGT350 They are still nice and bright. Though I did have one fail after 6 months. Returned it for replacement, no issues with the return.
They burnt out now I replaced with different Brand

Bullets Garage They are the DDM Tuning 50W saber pro.
There is a slight hum yes. But it shouldn’t be to loud. And yes they do heat up

It's my friends truck but no issues at all. Those are the 22 OEM just upgraded the stock wheels were the small ones.

These weren't hid bulbs you removed correct? They were regular halogen bulbs
Yes regular

Best to pull the old bulb out and see which one you have because they have two bulbs that it can be

Bullets Garage - Did you have to use a LED decoder to install these on the Yukon ?
No you don't
The tech support from DDM Tuning claims that I would need to use an LED decoder to avoid flickering. I am a bit confused here.

This is a 2016 no error codes
Do these throw the beam as far as halogens?
YES THE DO
Very helpful. Thx
HID for projector headlights...
LEDs or Halogen for reflector headlights...
What bulbs would you recommend for the high beam?
Dan D sylvania makes a good quality bulb
what is the bulb # please
The best thing you can do is physically take out your old bulb and check what part number it is. Different models have different bulbs
Will 5k match as well?
Yes it will be very close yes

Yes it should be just check your bulb number. And get the led bulbs

Just double check ur oem bulb numbers and order them In led

I notice that you have some flickering
That might be only in the video. In person there is no flickering
Led lights actually do flicker. Human eye can’t see it but the frame rate settings in a camera can record it.
True
