What do you think about this build? I've been having fun in geared normals with intense focus running explosion over zap and ice bolt over ignite. Perks -> overload, quickchant, arcane mastery , then either (sage, ice mastery, or fire mastery). Its weak to landmine and panther but it is really strong against everyone else. Too many druids in HR to use in high roller for me.
Hey, if you get 80 knowledge on wizard you get 150% spell casting speed. This turns the Ice Bolt 1.25 second cast time to 0.5 second. Combo with Ice Mastery for 0.5 second root. Have you ever tried this build?
If you include quickchant and sage you will only need around 65 knowledge. Wizard base knowledge is 20. Can get 38 knowledge from static attribute legendary in every slot, and +2 knowledge random attribute from hat. Can get 2 from rogue jokester and 3 from bard storyteller.
I was under the impression that reactive shield and arcane shield cancel each other out, essentially making reactive shield a dead perk. Why do you run both?
Good observation, they do cancel each other out if you use them in the wrong order. Reactive shield only pops if you take dmg, that’s why you need to use arcane first and not the other way around
Isnt max health or max health bonus better then vigor? Once you get 20 vigor or what ever the light cap is it takes 4 vigor to get 1 health? Comoared to flat stats like +4 max health or am i wrong ?
I do not build strength on purpose, I get it if it's free like no need to invest anything or trade off. For example grimsile are as good as legendary vitality but you get str on top =)
@@cngbladefairly certain that’s not how the scaling works… the nerf was to the attribute ratio and the attribute that affects magic damage is will. Missiles has a base damage which isn’t affected and that damage is increased by will by a certain variable amount. That variable amount was reduced to .75 instead of 100 meaning if you have a base damage of 10 and MPB of 50% it would go up to 15 damage but u only get 75% of that increase post nerf so it’s 39ish% instead and that means u get about 4 extra damage per missile moving it from 10->14 from MPB and then true magic is applied afterwards into each missile so if you have 9 true it would go from 14->23 damage per missile with 9 of the damage not being affected being magic resist and 14 of it being reduced by magic resist so if enemy had 25%MR it would move it down by 3.5 damage so it would be 11.5 damage plus the 9 true puts it at 20.5 damage per missile

Great video. As a less experienced wizard, I find myself struggling to win fights if I'm missing spells or i just get rushed down by barbarians and fighters. Is this something I'll get better at if I learn to use better spacing and improve my accuracy? Thanks for making such good content!
Mana sphere is overall a better choice because of the True mag damage, so it equally gives a good boost to melee and casting. Vision crystal gives more power for the London Wizard and the Bonk wizard but not so much casting.

buy my rubysilver vestment for 9999 its insane , its a godroll ( +2 knowlede , +5 max hp, +1.9 cast speed , and some projectile reduction , or what do you think its worth?
Honestly at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if CNG easily 1v3 a team with only a torch while his eyes are closed and he had one hand tied behind his back
it annoys me when i watch other wizards play and the fighters and barbs just sit back panicking taking all the spells, when I play they just bumrush me and I dont have enough time to cast spells
Isn’t it better to just get additional magical damge almost no one builds for magic resist, it cheaper and even if they do you additional magic damage plus your magic power should out weigh or cancel out their resistance
all "gameplay time" kills were literally magic missile which is the most re7arded spell in the game. "rank 1 wizard" for sure. i have more respects for wizards in my lobbies with no chest pieces as long as theyre dont spamming that brainless melee spell

For normals ice bolt and ice mastery is mandatory I would say (low gear) you don't need ignite either cause mobs are easy

Debuff duration exists, you won’t be able to perma cc one guy

Iyou have 9 true damage. This means your every arcane missile will do 9 true damage + base damage ?
9x0.75 because they nerfed the scaling, you add the spellbook/crystall ball damage on top of them

What is the difference is cyclops vision crystal ball and mana sphere
Mana sphere is overall a better choice because of the True mag damage, so it equally gives a good boost to melee and casting.
Vision crystal gives more power for the London Wizard and the Bonk wizard but not so much casting.
mana sphere stats are amazing but i cant get used to the spells coming out the left bro it throws me off everytime😂😂

why do you use a staff in the solo build but crystal sword in the trio build?
Solo I bring staff mastery which boost up the dmg for PVE clear. For trio you don’t need that perk because team clear PVE for you

Knowledge is better in general, also will gives 1 mp, and magic power scales poorly with missile because it has low base dmg

explosion was mid already and got nerfed even more. ignite was always great and no nerf
U cant use explosion on Landmines and you need Ignite for HC clear
