I am not a certified Maserati Technician. I am just a backyard mechanic with enough confidence in my skills and having done the necessary research to perform regular maintenance and repairs on my 2014 Maserati Ghibli SQ4 myself and post the videos on youtube. With the exception of engine oil changes, I had never before performed any the services or repairs on a Maserati Ghibli SQ4 you see in my videos until then. It was my first time. If I seem like I am trying to look like an expert, it is wholy unintentional because I admit I am not.

Carbon build up is from Oil and Goo being recirculated from Crankcase back into the intake tract)s)
Oil goo can originate from piston leakages (blowby) and from leaky Tiurbo Oil seals.
Without port injectors to wash the goop off the valves it builds up.
Your engine has less than usual blowby goops .. So far.
Unlikely beating on the engine causes less blowby products.
Possibly, it may help keep the rings free for a bit less blowby ?
Does nothing for the turbo oil seals though..
