lol what's going on at 2:42 - it's like John is sneaking in like a ninja to grab something under the table.

Great solution for holding the hardness tester. I have the same model & you need a third hand to use it. How much to have you print one and ship to the US? Must have.

G'day mate! is there any chance I could get a copy of the stl file for your hardness tester stand? I've got the same model and would love to print one off for myself. great video! thanks for making it.

Yes, same request! I have the Ames portable tester, and would greatly appreciate a 3d printed stand :)

have you considered testing the blades again post machining? this obviously will scrap the blade, but it would be an interesting experiment to see if the inside is indeed the same hardness as the outside.

Hey! Is RWL34 the only steel you ever use? Never Elmax or M390?

Do you know about the Wazer (Water cutter) already? Might be interesting for quick prototyping.

I like the new Intro... It's very intro-sting.

With regard to the title of the video, it sure would have been nice to see the dials and scale close up to see what you were actually seeing and reading. Thanks for sharing though!

Do you find machining hardened steel a bit tricky?

Where do you read the hardness on that device?

Alec Steel did some great videos about metal hardening with real engineering, must see if you interested in this process.
