I had an uncle who's parents were from St. Ives. I visited there in the 1970s. It was very pretty.

We went for the day yesterday ( live in Truro). Beautiful village & beaches but far too busy for me. Even mid September you could hardly move on the main streets for cars & people. Maybe good to visit autumn/winter.

It's always busy now-a-days. Mid September might have been the September Festival though.
