The horse power for sure is an absolute LAUGH.... however, that torque curve MAN ALIVE to my mind is what brings the on-road "humpty". Smashing video gentlemen, great insight thank you all.
I dont understand these kind of people. So he has a stage 3 golf R, and never pushes the car? Only puts the foot down “every now and then”?! I’d rather have a stock car that I can push every day without worrying, than to build a car just to stick in a garage and drive it like a granny.
Can safely say, I’m also stuck with RL. Quality, support, aesthetics, eveyrbing for me. The team are great, really friendly and welcoming. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
It's basically just another way of saying road legal tuning. Decats or a non EC approved sports cats are not road legal. An EC approved road legal sports cat is around £2000+ So this turbo upgrade option whilst keeping your stock cat is a legal and efficient way to make good power and keep everything road legal.
@TheCinderellaman10 L380x will do around 420bhp with a sports/decat and about 460bhp if you go for LPFP and HPFP. No way it would get 433bhp like the Garrett with the stock cat still in place. With a decat and fuel pumps, the Garrett will give a lot more than 433bhp like in this video. The point of this video, though is a road legal option and still decent gains over stock.
Those spinning seats are driving me crazy! Car looks mega though
If I were sat in one I'd be doing the same......in fact I'd probably be snipping round until I was asked to leave(told ....more like).
Wow, I used to work with Paul, nice lad. I'm a future Awesome customer when my TT is out of warranty 😀👍
One of the best, there isn't many like him.
What a beauty R 🔥🔥🔥

Some people prefer to build a car and appreciate it as a hobby, rather than ring it's neck and drive it like a knob everywhere.

when we getting support for the non-GPF mk7 cars?
Comprehensive RL catalogue installed & tuned..then this? 25:56
is that racing line badge on the front grille on a plinth or is it just the badge they have available stuck onto the grille?
I made a plinth for it mate and then stuck the Racingline badge on to it
@@paulcurley332 fair play looks great 👍, lovely car
What tune has the gearbox?
Racingline TCU gearbox tune
@@paulcurley332we have the same…it works fine? Because I know they have one calibration from stage1 to stage3
Vag cars are cute unless rs3 and above can’t entertain it, all that stuff for such low power but each to their Own
What a strange bloke, seems a nice lad but why stage 3 a golf r and be scared to put your foot down
Why not get the rs3, better at everything for less money.
If we all had the same interests, the car scene would be boring. The Golf is beautiful and a testament to his meticulousness.
That's not much different from a stage 2 what is 400hp
Numbers are not everything especially with a weak is38. The power max will hit harder and the boost will be safer to drive harder at this power level
What a weird vid...ethical tuning!lol That's how VW sell them!

Pretty sure the power max turbo is a very good turbo for the ea888 gen3. Even a littco l380x or l450 with stock downpipe will give better performance
