I have been a profession musician for over 40 years. I have worked with ACCM, Chaka Khan, The Dells, 13 years at Drury Lane south and most venues in Chicago. I have a ton of respect for Kahil! I have worked with many musicians that have worked with him. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to play the music that he does. He is truly a genius. This is especially hard when the money is not great. America just does not respect Black music. Kahil being a leader is especially difficult and to do this for decades is stunning. Awesome man!

I've been a Jazz fanatic since childhood- first time I knew about this artist is late June 2022 Driving with a friend in his car- really blown me with this artist. Very touchy, soothing, healing genre. 🎷😍🎺👏

It is so unbelievable that the music can be so real and so peaceful. There is so much honesty and trust that you can open up and breath a sigh of relief. This music takes you back in the space of time where humanity was a soul spreme of human kindness .

You can't concern yourself with what others think. Keep Appreciating the Arts. Friends come and go.

Maybe your friends are crazy or stupid. so don't listen to them. Music has to speach with heart not with wallet !

The more I hear from this guy the more I get attached to his music. What is that instrument he's playing? Kalimba?
