I've read elsewhere that the "tancho" trait is not something that gets passed down in a consistent manner - its just that fish with some orange sometimes have it show up on top of the head. Overall form / health / color more important than if orange shows up on the head.

is the water in your bottles from a tap that has been sitting for some time, and do you use any water conditioner like prime?
He use rock salt, or you can also use any water conditioner brand like aqua care, when i use water conditioner personally ill wait 24hrs before using the water just to be sure
Without water cond' or rock salt i have to wait for like 3 to 5 days to remove chlorine, kinda hassle

Yes u can use anti chlorine and set it for 24 hours before adding f8sh

How do you prevent birds from eating fish?
i guess you must start growing shrimps too , they eat the algae and give fresh plants same time they breed and you can sell them too , but a separate tub needs to be used where u must do this
Yes i have plans on aquaring shrimps.. maybe next month 😁
What I can suggest is that you cut that Bacopa monieri in half then plant it again on that pot. That plant is a fast grower even on lowtech setup.
My bacopa ain't growing it just stays the same height 🥹

how did you make the tube that you siphon your tank with?
It's just hose with reinforcement for a section (zip ties and a stick to the hose). Fill the hose with water until its ready to pour from both ends. Hold one end high while keeping the other end capped (with your finger works). Place one end in the tub and lower the other end below that of the top of the water in the tub. Release the other end and when the water pours out it will drag with it the water from the tank. Since the water level in the tank is higher than the water level on the ground it will flow in one direction only.

If your female is healthy. You can have another tank for your baby guppies.
