Super creative solution! It's pretty ridiculous that we have to fix a problem that really shouldn't be one for a big company like Hasbro. I can't really imagine Hasbro using resources to retool these, and even if they were to rerelease these figures, who knows when or if that'll happen, so for now, this solution will do! Hoping Mafex or Figuarts will release much better looking versions of these characters!
Would the Count Dooku legs possibly work for Baylan? Christopher Lee only stood 2 inches taller than Ray Stevenson so it could be fudged together I think
What a great and simple fix! And the added bonus is that the top parts of Baylans’ legs can be used on Reva in return, with no blatantly obvious difference.
Thanks for sharing, a tip on how heat up these figures. You can also heat up the water, then transfer the water to a new container (to prevent burning with the bottom of the pot you just used to heat up the water), place the figure in a ziplock bag, then place the bag in the hot water, that way you prevent discoloration that can happen from the direct water contact (in case you are just heating up joints on new figures etc.) and your figure won't be wet. Thanks again for sharing.

Great ideas Luke! But I was thinking of adding the Stevie Nicks idea of platform Boots (on Baylan), as I dont want to destroy my Reva, and shes still too expensive to buy another one at this stage. Just used a 5th brothers legs and saber for Baylan. The boots look good, and he has more height. Used the microwave method for heating the water and it worked a treat.
Couldn't wait to get mine in the mail, got my Reva and Koska a few days ago. Immediately did this leg swap and the difference is incredible. Thanks so much for putting this together.
I used Fourth Sister for Shin. The color matches perfect and her blades are a bit more orange so it fits nicely on both of them. I did add a bit of black tac in the actual socket for the lower leg though to add friction, it's a loose fit otherwise. For Baylan I did it the hard way and cut his legs at the thigh, cut off a chunk of thigh from a different fodder figure and glued that in between the Baylan cuts, basically adding a slab of plastic to his thigh length to make him taller overall. There's probably an easier way but this works for me lol.
Awesome video. I'm going to go ahead and get the Koska Reeves and Reva so I can do this the minute my figs arrive from Hasbro Pulse. I hate that we have to do it but at least now I can put them on display instead of just keeping them in their boxes. Thanks for the fix!🤘
Amazing job! To think, last night I cancelled my pre-orders, thinking I can wait a couple years for these to be redone/corrected by Hasbro when the next season/show comes out. Maybe now I’ll actually pick them up if I find them in the wild.
Thanx Luke for sharing, I would have def thought to do the same, but wouldn't have known to use Reva for sure! Years ago I fixed the CW season 5 Ahsoka's height by using Qira's thighs and grinding down the boots until they are flats.

Great job man! I really have tried to be less critical of figures because ultimately I love most of them… but these two really should not have made it out of quality testing/approval at the developer stage. The fact they went to production and were released like this is dumbfounding. Regardless, I’m definitely going to use these fixes as a start. I think I’ll try to modify Shin’s robes a little because once she’s dropped down she looks a bit bulky. I’m definitely going to creat new hair with Apoxie sculpt. Thanks for putting this out! 👍🏻

Great tip/hack. Although, this means I have to buy a Reva and Sabine (which are characters and figures from live action whom I have no interest in at all). None of them are on sale here, so it's full price for two extra figures just to do this. They are already expensive here, compared to in the US, due to import taxes and stuff. Baylan looks great with this method. Shin looks ok from waste and up, but this hack makes her lower part dress/skirt looks way too long (like some massive long skirt), and boots barely visible, not proportional at all, so I'm not sure. Both an expensive and not ultimate solution, but still a "fix". Maybe I'll just do the Reva/Baylan fix and let Shin be. Not sure if that makes Baylan looks at least a bit taller than Shin? A hard decision. Then depending on which versions I get from my pre-order, I'm not sure if they will have red or orange sabers. Which means I might need to try and get another Shin just for the shorter orange saber to fit Baylan, if not one might have a red and the other an orange saber which will look weird. What a mess. Hasbro should have just gotten this right, but alas. The only two characters I found intresting in the Ahsoka live action series and of course they had to get them wrong.

They work well actually but the knee peg is a little loose. I ended up switching to Fennec’s legs on mine and using black tack to stuff the peg a little.
IDK if it's because of a retool or Luke just didn't see fit to mention it (I have an orange saber Baylan), but putting Baylan's thighs on Reva left her floppy at the hips AND knees. Soaked her in ice water for 10 minutes thinking maybe the plastic hadn't cooled down, nope, still floppy. Just FYI.
Looks much better but I feel like part of the problem now is that Sabine is too small. Natasha is 5’7, same as Rosario, and Ivanna and Mary Elizabeth are both 5’8 so those 4 characters should all be around the same size as each other.
My favorite Star Wars (The Mandalorian) engineers/mechanics, Babu Fric, Kuiil, Peli Motta, and last but not least, LL. Great solutions LL. I assume that Hasbro will fix the problem eventually like they did with the Boushh Leia figure but in reverse (her legs were originally too long). Have you thought of making a custom figure of the Jedi youngling that asked Master Skywalker, “What are we going to do, there are too many of them,” during the massacre at the Jedi temple? The new 6” preorder child Anakin got me thinking of a lot different custom possibilities.

I noticed this right away, having bought both Baylan and Shin. The heights are ridiculous. Maybe it was a Disney directive to Hasbro to not make the female character look smaller than the male? This is the times we live in afterall.
@11:46 given how many times Hasbro has had inexcusably bad scaling issues that absolutely ruined figures (R2-D2, IG-88/11, among others) there’s zero reason they can’t get a picture emailed to them of each figure standing to the right of a ruler (with US Inches and centimeters for the rest of the world) with a Luke Skywalker on the left of the ruler (presumably Luke is the reference figure, but whatever they use!). Straight on facing the camper and another with the figures standing sideways. This could be a fast way to avoid such scale issues if the shipment of the physical prototypes or first passes or whatever they are called takes too long. If it’s a close match, great! If it’s significantly off the. You caught it and can fix it. Can’t believe they don’t do this (if they Do, the. It’s even worse because it means they allowed these lapses in judgement to happen!). There’s other figures that are too big (Bossk, Boush Leia tho they at least modded her for the archive). There’s others with less obvious scale issues, but this would be a great way to quickly identify issues and correct them lest we have to wait another 10 years to get a fixed accurate figure like the awesome R2 or however long IG-88/11 will take (thank goodness for Figuarts and Mafex who had stellar R2’s and IG-11’s and still beat Hasbro’s!).
Honestly might poke around for some fodder figs while i wait for these to go on sale. Shin will be my first custom head too, since they did such a good job
I know you showed the process on how to do it, but can you please show the process for Reva and Baylan? The opposite legs and rotation part confused me. Also show the blue tac for his shoulder pads. Please! I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Dremel, then insert dowels. Then seal with polymer clay, sculpt pants texture. Repaint. Done
