- Take a ride aboard the new version of Frozen Ever After at Hong Kong Disneyland's World of Frozen, during the media preview on November 15th, 2023. While the ride is similar to the EPCOT attraction, this one features some updates, including a different look for the Audio-Animatronics.

"Inside Out 2" opening night at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood 🌃
Opening night of Disney/Pixar's "Inside Out 2" at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, complete with unique photo ops, popcorn buckets and sippers, Disneyland's Side Street Strutters, a special appearance by actress Maya Hawke (Anxiety & Ennui & Embarrassment & Envy), and merchandise.
So easy to see how cheap Disney has gotten over the years with this. We have great faces, animatronics, everything looks real and lively... then we take a trip at the same ride at Epcot at Disney World and pretty much the same ride except instead of moving faces we get face projections that look creepy as all hell, because hey that was cheaper and "looks the same" (hint: no it doesn't, not even close)
Yup. In Hong Kong, the local partner owns 52% of the park and contributes 52% of the funds needed to build attractions. That's why theirs turn out better-Disney won't spend more than the bare minimum on the parks it wholly owns.
Why is this being upvoted, the one in Epcot doesn't look different "because hey that was cheaper" it's because that ride was made 8 years ago and technology changes.

...That's irrelevant. You're comparing a ride that was created this year to one that was created almost a decade ago. If the Hong Kong animatronics your point would make sense. They tried a projection technique that worked really well in other places. Like enchanted tales with bell. The Lumiere there is incredible, it just didn't work as well in F:EA, so they updated it when they made this one.
There is literally nothing to warrant your initial reaction here. But we are talking about Disney on TH-cam so of course people are going to complain and blow things out of proportion no matter what.@@Mike__B
