had a thought while making this that the original song is in the correct pitch, but its just a key change (many songs in the 80s liked to do this), thats why at the end it jumps a key (of course in a lower key though, this key was just done to match the original sample)
This is probably the best thing to come out of this whole search for EKT. It sounds great and has the same vibe as the song, plus this being made in the actual song's absence is a welcome melancholy outcome which sort of fits this whole atmosphere of the lost media debacle.
Honestly, I think this would be the most faithful to what the original may have been, it carries the same vibe and all with the tune, you're really talented!

Where did you get the guitar track and such? I read about a "burnttoast" stems but I can't find that I was thinking, is that guitar taken from the song? because it has a a lot of gain, compared with what I seem to hear in the og, just curious

I listen to some of your uploads often haha but if you have a specific thing you're looking for, I'd like to know, but for the text throughout the video that shrinks at the edges, iirc it's text with minor gaussian blur where the edges are smoothed but text still visible, glow effect to brighten the smoothed edges and then a sharpen effect to sharpen it. Then add a white layer on top set to overlay so the text becomes flat and smooth along with a black backdrop underneath so the white layer doesn't interfere with the background, and use gradient wipe on an adjustment layer to dissolve the darkest parts of the image before the lightest. This one's just for taste but if you want the text to shake, use a wiggle-position effect on an adjustment layer set to 1 or 2 pixels and a speed between 8-12 It's a bit tedious and often changing the color can be a pain and if it doesn't work how I explained lmk so I can try to fix any mistakes since I'm not at my computer right now, but it's all after effects start to finish in this video except for the rotating text shine done in blender.
