- Ohio State football quarterbacks Devin Brown (33), Lincoln Kienholz (3), Will Howard (18), Julian Sayin (10) and Air Noland (12) rolled through drills during the second practice of the spring.

Ik its just practice but air is throwing on the money
Man you know I was just saying that very same thing I am not a big lefty fan even though my favorite 49er qb is Steve young. Air Nolan’s has this motion and flick and is on point with his throws. I predict that it may play out this way. Will starts then leaves for nfl and I believe air beats out Julian saying even though I believe if they both stay one redshirts and which Julian may stay whole 4 years but I’m sorry for long reply air Nolan looks like a baller. Even though we talking about practice lol

Will Howard will be the starter and I'm going to laugh if Devin Brown and Lincoln kienholz fail so air can be the second quarter
Air will likely end up transferring either after this year or after next year. itll be Howard this year and Sayin easily next year. I hope Air stays around bc Sayin might only play 1 year as the starter than Air cld still have 2 years to be the man. NGL I wish Brown and Lincoln wld just transfer already,dont get me wrong I hope they r successful somewhere,but I dont think it will be here. Might as well go sooner than later while they have eligibility left. Plus it's hard to transfer and start right away,if they left this year they cld compete for a job by next fall being that they wld already have a year w the program,depending where they go they cld compete for a job this year if they left soon enough. I'll root for them whatever happens,I just dont think they have a chance here w the guys we have and the guy/guys that will be coming next year and going forward.
Sayin might be good enough to play 1 year here then go pro. NGL I LOVE St. Clair and I hope he gets his shot,hes extremely talented and hes from Ohio. Might be Howard this year Sayin next year (or 2) then St. Clair...I think Noland will leave when/if Sayin wins the job next year,unfortunately. But hes to talented to sit around for 2-3 years. But he cld also win the job and it go the other way,but the likelyhood they both stay after 1 of them gets the job is slim to none,but thats the way it goes when u have that kinda talent,as long as the one who leaves dont go to a B1G team I'll root for them the same as I did for Joe Burrow. Hopefully we dont start the wrong one and the other goes somewhere and crushes it like Burrow did lol 🤦🏼♂️ Good problem to have,if it works out,if it goes the other way...yikes,Day might be gone if that happens.

Sayin is the most confident,he had no hesitation going to OSU knowing Howard was there and a 5 star comin in w him and another 5 star comin next year. Hes a way better athlete than he gets credit for. Kid has zero nerves out there,Brown and Lincoln looked terrified out there against Missouri. Howard this year,Sayin or Noland next year,red shirt St.Clair (OHIO kid) to take over when JS/AN r gone. Set for the next 5-6 years at QB.

All I’m saying is we need to the best player to start that’s it that’s all if it’s a freshman so be it we act like we haven’t seen freshman qbs win a heisman and then win a natty before

Brah ppl sleepin on this kid he was the #2 ranked previous #1 QB in the nation and he wants it if Howard struggles Julian goes in and OSU gets the Natty that offense is scary good and the defense is lights out shut down, don’t see Carson beck being able to gash us like the 22 playoffs

Nah we sleeping on Air Noland. Saying is hyped up some even saying he will be QB1 by end of the season. Which I’m not mad at but I really like Air Noland he keeps his eyes down field has an effortless throwing motion and seems to make good decisions quickly when I watch his high school tape
Howard is clearly the guy. Looks comfortable like he's been there before. Dude is nfl ready. Everyone is on the air Noland train but a freshman looks great when there isnt defenders.... Total different story in game pressure
Brown, Kienholz, and Noland look the most natural when throwing.
Cap they suck
Brown doesn't get the ball up at the numbers on a couple of throws. That being said they do look comfortable. Howard looks like he is forcing the ball more than he needs to.
I don’t know man, to me, looks like Sayin has smooth and effortless release.

Everyone is money when there's no pass rush and they no it can't get picked. Whole different game when a freshman is there for real. Howard gets the start just in game experience
Limcoln looks good I wonder why Sayin was going before him and Nolan getting skipped and he is throwing such catchable balls.

Howard has 48 TD passes, Brown has 2, the rest have zero. Not the final determining factor but Coach Day WILL use this.

Noland had a bit of a looping release doesn't he? I'm not a QB guru but that seems like something they can clean up. Maybe it's just cause he is a south paw

@@tilldaearthJoe Burrow ring a bell? Julian Sayin will be,Will Howard might win him a NC this year,Craig Krenzel won our previous NC in 2002. Color don't matter,esp at QB. Sayin is as athletic as Air if not more and has more zip on the ball not to mention the confidence to come to OSU when a 5 star in his class already committed. he said "pff I can beat that dude,sign me up" gotta love anyone w that attitude n confidence. Air played at a big prestigious HS w a ton of talent,Sayin played at a normal public HS n still was better. We shall see,idc about the color,whoever is better and can win the most is the guy I want. 🤷♂️
Sayin also has some fluidity to how he moves, can just tell he is athletic - very smooth.

Ima be honest I don’t get this noland praise I been seeing all over the place. I was stoked when he committed, but the VERY LITTLE ive seen, I don’t get it. His mechanics clearly aren’t as good as what everyone says yet. The Alabama plant looks better out of those two in my opinion. Will should be the guy, but keinholz has suprised me a lot. Dude looks night and different than the practice tape last year.
I just don't like lefty QBs.
