- Cleo and Kim's father Don takes them to the beach to get to know his new girlfriend, Sam. But while Cleo is willing to accept her for her father's sake, Kim hates her from the start, but uses the situation to get expensive gifts out of her father as bribes for her approval, much to Cleo's disgust. But Sam and Don get the wrong idea when Cleo refuses to go swimming with Sam, and think that Cleo is the one who has a problem with her.

After watching this for the 10th year in a row. It's amazing to see Rikki's growth. I felt like she was kind of blasé about being a mermaid and keeping the secret more in season 1 and sort of in season 2 but this season it's like she's become how Emma was.

Rikki's turned out to be such a nice character! She has smoothed some parts of her personality and her sweetness is finally emerging ❤️❤️❤️ (not that she wasn't always a cutie!)
Will and Bella clearly like each other and Sophie is kind of rude. Its not that Cleo doesn't like sam she just has to keep her tail a secret. Kim can sometimes be very selfish. It was good cleo wanted her dad to be happy and told him to go and find sam. The engagement was a shock to me to.
