4:35 is the moment that gets me the most - Horus - once the greatest of the Primarchs, the noble protector of humanity, the breaker of the tyrants... became a crazy, rageful monster... His story is so sad and tragic... Your music catched it perfectly
Not sure what it is about tragic figures like this that i'm drawn to, but this music perfectly captures the vibe of Horus's descent from the charismatic well-intentioned leader he was, to a rageful, cold champion of the dark gods. It also reminds me of the fact that chaos was not 100% responsible for his fall either. Everything Horus became was already inside him from the beginning, and you can see glimpses of it in the first book.
i love dark melancolic ambience like this, it is perfect as baground when playing strategic games if you already heard the games soundtrack a hundred times

Listening to an audiobook called Rune Seeker and I have to say, when the "enemy" starts to show up and everyone begins to fear everything around them, this music makes it more of a horror story than an adventure.
Listening to this while building a True Sons warband army for 40k, it's perfect THE GALAXY SHALL FEAR LUPERCAL ONCE MORE FOR THE TRUE WARMASTER FOR HORUS

Finished my reread of Know No Fear by Dan Abnett recently and this air of tragedy is perfect for the initial attack on Calth. The way orbital yards are burned by a purposely driven ship into its heart and how most of the Ultramarines flat out refuse to believe the Word Bearers are actually attacking them is tragic.

As a sons of horus player, This music is fitting, there is something broken in and wrong In the War-Master, right before Isstvan III Old friends and Fellow Astartes seem distant towards most of the Terran Born and third company, and wont look them in the eyes, making excuses to avoid speaking. There is a sharpness to them, and something else. They seem dissociated with each other and yourself Probably nothing though
By the end, Horus was nothing but a walking meat suit for the four. A true cautionary tale against consorting with the ruinous powers; The freedom they promise is the loss of yourself.

His regret was so much that even if he were to live, he would take his own life before letting the four reclaim him so fully. That is the cruelty of Chaos; They did not even let the most important of their own pawns die a believer. In the end, they extracted one final rivulet of delicious misery by giving his mind back to him and letting him understand what they had made him do. Horus was the quintessential slave to chaos, the platonic ideal of a mindless puppet, and that is all Chaos really wants.
The end of the Horus Heresy. When Horus kills Sanguinius and then the Emperor shows up and kills Horus to end the Heresy. Then after his fight with Horus the Emperor was placed on his golden throne in his vegetable state.
Surely the Inquisition will come for you now, for to but speak the name of the foul arch traitor is heresy in and of itself and you have named a symphony for him! 👐🚀🌎👑🟠🛸👐
