Nelitheertha caves is a naturally built cave. Here we can have darshan of shivalinga & from here only kateelu Durgaparmeshwari born as a bee and settled in kateelu. Almost you need travel 210 meters in the cave, where you should crawl atleast 100 meters.

It is a temple of more than 700 years of history. Though the cave entry is allowed only for 6 months, the main temple is open throughout, with 3 times pooja & rituals. All major festivals, like Ganesh chowthi, Shivaratri, Deepavali, Navaratri are celebrated with good crowd attending. In Dec-Jan there will be 7 days annual jathra, Rathotsava ,& bhoota kola are celebrated. A holy, poweful & vibrating place. As you told, it is not a picnic place, but a holy & spiritual place for mental peace. You have missed another important Vyagrachamundy Gudi there. Temple need sponsors, support from public for improvement & to provide more facilities. I am a regular visitor & devotee of this temple.

Amazing video Sir, Hats off to you young couple for this arduous trekking & exploration. However, wish u could've probed a bit to travel beyond Shivling - if permitted, to see where the route leads to. Also, in Part 2, u could've narrated sage Sri Jabali muni's background. As myth goes, when / how did he came to this amazing location etc., There were about a dozen plaques behind his Samadhi, which begs to be explained. My earnest request is kindly try to be more meticulous - where possible - to throw more light on such superb locations. My sincere Best Wishes to your nxt endevour & looking forward to same.
