I always did fights against CPU in versus and created my own stories in my head. Usually it would involve a good character, like Goku, who turns evil. I would ALWAYS save this song for the final battle and make it between characters that are close. Like Gohan having to fight and kill his dad for the greater good for example even though he obviously didn't want it. This song perfectly captured the kind of emotions that kind of battle would possess.
Me too i did that with this game with Bardock and Friezas whole family like an alternate reality where Bardock wins but i used Caution theme for final battle

Tenkaichi 3's "Lost Courage" It's amazing how this song at the same time conveys hopelessness like you're almost accepting your death but at the same time the feeling of not giving up even if the odds are against you and pushing your limits.
All I can think of when listening to this is the sorrow and hopelessness I felt as a kid when fighting Nappa as the Z Fighters. I would always tear up when I saw Chiaotzu and Piccolo die and used that anger and sadness to play better and beat the mission lol

Yo igual , no recuerdo exactamente cuando fue la primera vez que jugué a BT3 pero era muy pequeño , estoy seguro de que fue incluso antes de que tener mi PS2 a los 6 , mi amor por Dragón Ball viene de mis primos que siempre fueron fans del anime desde los 90 , el primer dragón Ball que ví fue el Z Kai y el primer juego fue este , fue uno de mis primos llamado Pablo quien me enseñó a jugar pero tuvieron que pasar años y años , como cuando tenía unos 12 que fue la primera vez que le pude ganar en una partida en serio , fue en el modo de 5 vs 5 y fue tan parejo que duramos más de 20 minutos jugando pero cuando gane me puse como loco xd fue un momento muy feliz
Me acuerdo que ponía esta canción cuando jugaba con amigos, es mi tema favorito del juego y cuando jugaba con mis mains como gohan del futuro y bardock o hasta yamcha mientras mis amigos a goku ssj3 y 4, baby vegeta, androide 13 o super androide 17 daba una buena pelea y cuando ganaba era épico

It really does convey a sense of a desperation in the face of impending doom, especially the ominous bells at the beginning.
This song almost made me cry when I was little. Adds the exactly amount of "emotional weight" that the battle with Nappa needed.
