I did the oil control lotion with the anti aging serum (your girl is only 24 but has fine lines already 😢) it came 2 days ago and I’ve had the best 2 make up days since. I don't use the sponge tips except to apply shimmer/glitter shades. They actually work really well for applying shadows that need to be packed on or that have shimmer that falls during application. They seem to keep the product going exactly where you want it and not all over. Other than that though, I never use them.
This makeup looks beautiful on you! I feel like people don’t talk about Clinique enough and it’s such a trustworthy brand to nail that gorgeous everyday makeup. Not super full coverage or glam, but you can’t go wrong 🙌🏼

When I was in middle/high school, my mom always bought Clinique products from Macy’s and they would give a bag of free gifts with purchases and I ALWAYS wore the strawberry fudge duo, which had a pink and gold almost duo chrome shade, and a shimmery brown shade. I used the small sponge tip applicator it came with and my fingers, and considering the time and my lack of makeup knowledge it came out pretty good, and I would get compliments on it! The sponge tip applicator seems to work well with Clinique shadows.
One of the absolute FIRST (if not THE first) higher end makeup items that was ever purchased for me was an eyeshadow duo from Clinique that I believe was named something like “Strawberry & Fudge” or something to that affect. It was, simply put, love at first sight and I was so over the moon when my mom agreed to buy it for me after the Makeup Artist working the counter had used it on me during my first serious makeover. I ABSOLUTELY ADOOOOOORED IT. I can’t tell you how much of a place that holds in my heart because of the memory of picking it out as the item I wanted to take home, the bonding experience I shared with my mom and also how beautiful it made me feel. It was SUCH a prized possession of mine for so many years. To this day, over a decade later, I still have very warm, nostalgic feelings whenever I think of Clinique, and I can’t ever think of that brand without thinking of my mother and my treasured Strawberry & fudge duo. 😍♥️✨🍓🍫
I have been taking about the chubby stick for so longgg! I never hear anyone mention that product but it’s the best cream bronzer (which is what they should market it as) it’s so blendable and gives a beautiful soft sun kissed bronze! Really like the lipstick you used.
I have started applying my foundation with my fingers lately and it is sooo nice. I never thought I would like it but omg it just melts the product into my skin! I would have never tried it if I didn’t see u do it.
when i first started to really care about the quality of my makeup, around age 14, i started looking for a foundation that wouldn’t break me out. the only one that REALLY didn’t irritate my skin and looked nice over my texture and covered enough of my acne to make me confident was the clinique anti blemish solutions foundation! the entire anti blemish line helped a lot, but it was soooo expensive to keep using, but the foundation was something i used almost religiously until i started accutane and had to stop wearing makeup for a bit. thankfully today i don’t have acne anymore so i don’t use it anymore, idek even they still make it, but it came in a very similar bottle to your foundation and it brought back so many memories, omg. i can even smell it!! thanks for the nostalgia trip hahah

i’ve adored clinique for over 10 years, i loved this video. i feel like they’re so underrated. but dry eyebrow pencils. i like them because i like a natural brow, and when a brow product is too creamy i feel like i go crazy overboard. & damn your eyebrows came off so good!!!!! also that weird “brush” is good for an all over color on the lid & that’s about it. 10/10 look, i bought the glow foundation months ago because of your recommendation & will be buying more products now, too. you’re on of my favorite youtubers
So happy to see you do this video! I worked for Clinique back when I was in college and I still use a lot of their products. Been loving my DDMG ID with the smoothing cartridge. Such a genius idea! I love their Quickliners, too. And there are a lot more of those palettes in other shades. Their brushes are really great. My favorite product - that I've been using for over 20 years - is the Superface Double Powder. Great coverage and doesn't ever look dry.
The sponge applicators 😂 I can’t believe those things still exist! That would be a interesting challenge to do an eye look using just the sponge applicators.
Nuuuuuuuu dont get rid of them! they are the perfect texture for applying shimerry shadows to the lid! no setting spray needed to bring out the metallic finish!
I'm so glad you did a full face of Clinique. I've been so curious to their other products!! I've only tried their foundations (the 2-in-1 concealer and foundation is lovely and I used to use the acne solutions one as well).
I think the makeup (and you) looks stunning! I love the chubby contour stick for my summer cream bronzer. First cream bronzer I ever tried, very creamy and easily blendable. The pop blushes are also really good! One of the only blushes that stays on my cheeks all day long.

That bottom lash mascara is a holy grail for me...it's a tubing mascara so it just doesn't budge and the wand is life! I've gone through probably 15 tubes of it since I discovered it🤣🤣
Loved this video. I used Clinique in high school (esp. the Brownie Vanilla lip crayon), and have been rediscovering the brand lately. The Nude Blush lipstick is in my purse right now, I always have a Black Honey Almost Lipstick in my desk drawer, and the Glow foundation has become my everyday go-to. I wish they'd bring back the liquid blushes that came in a bottle that looked like a mini moisturizer.
I actually love sponge eyeshadow applicators! I use them in place of a flat brush , where you would typically " pack" on shadow. So much better than your finger , much more precice. I do blend with a brush. They work especially well for softer shadows that have more fall out. Use a soft touch and you do not get fall out like you would with a brush. They are also a necessity for hooded eyes, especially for the outer V. I can get a pointed sponge tip applicator in that area where a brush usually skips.
Got to try that foundation 🙌🏻 Love the Pretty Easy liquid liner: brush tip, comes in brown, lasts forever! Also, would love to see a FFF of “nothing new”, a la Allie Glines - makeup you haven’t used in a while or just feel like wearing again!
Those sponge-tips are actually quite useful. Some of them mimic the texture of your finger tip and are good for applying shimmery eyeshadows on the lid or inner-corner, in a patting-dragging motion. Most of the times brushes fails to apply metallic/shimmery powder eyeshadows. My mom uses them everyday, as she does simpler eyelooks. I also use them when I do shimmer on my lids. I think youtube-instagram ignored these in favour of expensive brushes. But I think that in an everyday context, these applicators are used and useful.

one of the main reasons i love ur channel (besides ur personality lol) is that ur looks are always realistic, no heavy baking, winged liner, sculpted brows, contour major highlight etc.. it everyday wearable looks, for everyday people. (no offense to those who like more glam looks, just personally not my thing)

The sponge application is underrated. You really need to try it on extra shimmer shadows instead of finger tips. I was surprised at how much I actually loved it. 😀

Yay for Clinique!!! Their skincare does NOT agree with me but their Lash Power water resistant mascara is a necessity. It is a better version of a basic tubing mascara and comes off with warm water but does not budge from literally anything else. I can’t live without it 😍
I’m still the only one talking about Clinique chubby sticks (especially recently!!! in fuller fig, chunky cherry, super strawberry, chunkiest chili have been my latest faves especially fuller fig for the fall/winter/no makeup look)! I am so disappointed that I’m the only chubby stick fan left so I hope they come back in popularity before they become discontinued! I use the airbrush concealer on the redness that sometimes comes into my cheeks but it’s definitely a sheer coverage concealer but I was surprised that you thought it was on the matte side... it made me think about the finish it gives me. I’m so glad you reviewed these other products because they all have been on my wishlist!

Mom my worked at a Clinique counter for 20+ years at the Bay so I almost exclusively used it when I was younger! 😂 still love their skincare especially the moisture surge 72h hydrator. Also love the beyond perfecting foundation it’s my go to for full coverage 💕

Moisture surge mask is the BOMB. My Mom gave it to me. Total freaking fan! I STILL use black honey gloss. Started in high school twenty years ago. LOVE IT. I keep in my bag constantly. Great to have as a backup if u forget a lip color.
RE the sponge-tip applicator, Stephanie Nicole says that they are great for packing on shimmer/glitter shades if your nails are too long for you to use your fingers! So they do have a place...sometimes (not in a completely matte palette lol)
I definitely use the sponge applicator sticks that come with eye products!! I'm not huge on wearing a lot of makeup so I don't feel the need to spend extra money on brushes when I can just use what came with the product or my fingers. Especially since I don't have many different products to use or blend together. One palette and one applicator/fingers are good enough for me!
I’m someone who loves a drier brow pencil. The one I use is by Skone Cosmetics. I love a stiffer formula because I like really light strokes (of color) and I feel like soft pencils are like coloring with Crayola on your brows. I also feel like stiffer pencils tend to stay put better.

I love the spray, too! I agree with other commenters that Clinique is totally underrated. Would love to see you do a swatch video of ALL the cheek-pop shades, on-screen it's really, really hard to tell what they look like and ain't no Sephora where I live...

The sponge application is underrated. You really need to try it on extra shimmer shadows instead of finger tips. I was surprised at how much I actually loved it. 😀

I had almost totally forgotten about Maybelline Bad to the Bronze, but it's one of the best shadows I ever owned. I would LOVE to try out the Clinique version.

Yay for Clinique!!! Their skincare does NOT agree with me but their Lash Power water resistant mascara is a necessity. It is a better version of a basic tubing mascara and comes off with warm water but does not budge from literally anything else. I can’t live without it 😍

I’m still the only one talking about Clinique chubby sticks (especially recently!!! in fuller fig, chunky cherry, super strawberry, chunkiest chili have been my latest faves especially fuller fig for the fall/winter/no makeup look)! I am so disappointed that I’m the only chubby stick fan left so I hope they come back in popularity before they become discontinued! I use the airbrush concealer on the redness that sometimes comes into my cheeks but it’s definitely a sheer coverage concealer but I was surprised that you thought it was on the matte side... it made me think about the finish it gives me. I’m so glad you reviewed these other products because they all have been on my wishlist!

I've tried many different skin care products and always end up going back to clinique. There Smart serum, moisture surge line, dramatically different gel, are some of my favs. Great brand to collab with!!

Mom my worked at a Clinique counter for 20+ years at the Bay so I almost exclusively used it when I was younger! 😂 still love their skincare especially the moisture surge 72h hydrator. Also love the beyond perfecting foundation it’s my go to for full coverage 💕
ahaha! I do remember the "hysteria" with Clinique's bottom lash mascara!! :D I did go with the flow and bought it mysel too...even though I've never had a problem with regular mascaras/"racoon eyes" :D
Moisture surge mask is the BOMB. My Mom gave it to me. Total freaking fan! I STILL use black honey gloss. Started in high school twenty years ago. LOVE IT. I keep in my bag constantly. Great to have as a backup if u forget a lip color.

RE the sponge-tip applicator, Stephanie Nicole says that they are great for packing on shimmer/glitter shades if your nails are too long for you to use your fingers! So they do have a place...sometimes (not in a completely matte palette lol)

I definitely use the sponge applicator sticks that come with eye products!! I'm not huge on wearing a lot of makeup so I don't feel the need to spend extra money on brushes when I can just use what came with the product or my fingers. Especially since I don't have many different products to use or blend together. One palette and one applicator/fingers are good enough for me!
Clinique was the very first brand I ever tried and it never really let me down !
The spongetip applicators really do work. Not so much for matte shadow but more for shimmers.
I’m someone who loves a drier brow pencil. The one I use is by Skone Cosmetics. I love a stiffer formula because I like really light strokes (of color) and I feel like soft pencils are like coloring with Crayola on your brows. I also feel like stiffer pencils tend to stay put better.
