Their concept is based on Romeo and Juliet ! that's why it's about dying with someone (dye and also die lol because it's basically the same pronunciation). You can see Juliet's room and the "grave", also the bottle was the poison!! It's pretty conceptual. I think they were acting, like we saw at the beginning of the video, they were in a tent like if they were about to play an act like in the old days (that's why of the kind of century vibes). Hope you can react about their album songs, if you pay attention at their order it's also based on the story, like if they were telling that to us :)

Angelika Choi actually if you also count their Japanese and unit lol in 2019 alone they released 5 albums haha (and all of them are amazing amazing albums!!!!) I Won’t Let You Go, Focus (Jus2), Spinning Top, Love Loop, Call My Name. My favorite is Spinning Top > Love Loop > Focus > CMN > IWLYG, but really all 5 albums are such high quality and different in their own ways 🤍

Like what everyone is saying, the references in the video is from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. But with the song, usually, GOT7's title tracks is a song for the fans disguised as a love song. But you're free to take it as you hear it imo like you can think of it as a song for someone in particular. Not necessarily about the fans.
I haven't heard (at least as of writing) that this song is written strictly for the fans. It's more of a love song to me though. Like don't swear your love on the moon because the moon is ever changing. So like when you're swearing your love by the moon, it could change. The metaphorical use of the word dye is used like affecting or influencing each other in a way to prove that their love is never ending.

And it's really like a love (tragic) story~ it's like the storyline of Romeo and Juliet since its reference is Shakespearean! Aura is the time they fell in love during the capulet's ball, crazy is in the same scene or after I'm not sure. Love you better and NBTM is the balcony scene. Trust my love is the part when their families are separating them. and Poison is the death scene of R&J.

So I’m not sure anyone has explained this to you. The Korean name for the fans means baby birds if you see a bird in the video it’s a shout out to there fans. So this does sound again like a love song but again probably a love song to the fans. As a fandom we are blessed with them singing songs with comments for us almost every come back

Hey Aaron!! To resume, the song follows a storyline similar to Romeo and Juliet!! I recommend to listen to the whole album, it's so good!! Personally, I love Aura and Poison. Also, if you will keep reacting to GOT7, I would recommend You Are!! It's the first title track that a GOT7 member has write, it was composed by JB, the leader of the group, it's one of my favorite GOT7's song and also it has amazing vocals and performance!!

I read somewhere in the comments of "Not By The Moon" m/v that "You Calling My Name" is based off Romeo and Juliet im noy sure but the "Not By The Moon" is like Romeo and Juliet (Jinyoung is Juliet and JB is Romeo) Juliet then tells Romeo to swear not by the moon since the moon is always changing phases (but idk i just think its cool)

Just one thing about how to say their names. U don’t need to put any emphasis on the a vowels. For example BamBam is not pronounced BomBom but like how u would say baby so it’s not as complicated as I think ur making it for yourself

However, I understand that you think this is a love song, general people might don't get their song. One thing that you should know. GOT7 has done songs for fans = Ahgase = birds in the MV bc they love fans so much like a family. General people understand that it's love song bc of the lyrics but to me it's like our relationship (like a family) DYE has its own meaning. The concept is from Romeo and Juliet, romantic concept but it wasn't end tragedily. A little bird broke the moon it had light. Calling my name = they were inspired from fans when fans called their name at the concert. To the fans, GOT7 think of us so much, just a little thing like yelling their name at the concert which people in every concert did but GOT7 appreciate us so much until they make a song for us.
However, this is my fav. title song so far, I'll put aside with "You R" 😍 Their new technique and development always surprised me.
