I've been getting really tired of all the planner reviews this year but honestly this was my favorite one this year. I's just something about how you present it that keeps me interested.
I so enjoy planner launch season. It’s good, clean, sweet fun. I ordered that same cover. The Canvas theme was my pick because I use stickers. Thanks for the haul video.
I am so hoping that as well. I think the new teacher planner's are being released the 16th. I am hoping for a 7x9 size in the designs instead of just the focused, so fingers crossed. I like the 7x9 size since I lug mine back and forth each day, but got an 8x11 this past year because I needed the In Bloom design.
Loved this whole video, the first video of an “inspire” haul where I have actually stuck around to watch the whole video other than Julie Plans! And then you went and said about the pen and Kiki K pens… I LOVED Kiki K pens and have desperately clung to my pens! FYI, another kind of pen that takes the pilot precise V5 RT refills are the Kaweco Perkeo rollerball pens. They are a little hard to find - Jet Pens usually has a few in stock, but I've gotten all of mine from Yoseka Stationary, which is a small business in New York. I don't live in New York, but they have so much stock of other stationary supplies it's easy for me to get to the free shipping.

Great review! I love those dark label stickers! I have these Uni-Ball Signo UM-153 Broad Point Gel Impact Pen, 1.0mm in white/gold/silver and always love finding darker stickers to use them on. 😍 I use the opening design spread at the front of the planner for the backdrop of my vision board. I create a doc with the photos/words, print it on sticker paper, size it down, and stick it in there so it’s a permanent part of the planner. It covers some of the design, but I think of it as snazzing up my vb rather than covering up the beautiful. It’s too pretty not to use. Love it all! And thank you for the penspiration at the end! 👏🏻🫶🏻

I ordered an 18 month rainbow coil with the inspire design in horizontal (I've never used horizontal before, so still trying to figure out how to use it.) I got one of the newer Hello Kitty design covers, then ordered another Hello Kitty cover and a This is the way cover, and three sticker kits. Even though I got the inspire, my favorite design is the Wildflowers this time. I hope maybe the teacher planner will come with that option. If not, I'll have to justify needing another planner even though I don't need it, lol.
Really good but I did find the pages overexposed at times which made their contents largely invisible. Possibly some quote strong side lighting? Thank you for sharing 😊
GURL! I knew I shouldn't watch this video. I kept NOT watching it because I'm trying so hard to stick to my digital planner on my ipad mini (which I love) but sometimes...SOMETIMES, you just really need the physical thing! DANG IT~ now I want to buy all the stuff again, lol!
How much would you say your total yearly spend on planners and notebooks and accessories is versus the percentage of fully used stuff? I see so much stuff I love and want but here I'm May I'm not finding I'm using as much as I'd hoped. Am I just a planner fail?
That's a really tough question to answer! These days I have more than ever because a lot of things are gifted to me, but in general I probably spend $1000/year? Mostly on stickers and washi tape or pens. I don't always use everything up the same year I bought it but I eventually use almost everything I buy. Notebooks is likely the biggest exception there because I have a ton I haven't used yet. You're definitely not a planner fail but maybe you just bought more than you really have fun using in your everyday routine for this year. Also, I don't really consider it a fail if I only use, say, half the pages in a planner. It was still useful to me in the days I was using it!
I have one of the little snap in dashboard/todo bookmark thingys...It says you can write on it with dry or wet erase marker. But, the FriXion wet erase pens/markers barely write on it, and the dry erase markers seem to smear off very easy. So what markers/pens do you use on them? It's a very hard plastic. Thanks! That Inspire color one is really pretty!
I use either the fine tip EC ones or the vis a vis. I was also at one point using a sharpie that will come off with alcohol 😂. The steadtler lumocolors are also nice!
I think The Paper Collective get some EC stuff in their online store. Alternatively, Zulily sell stuff too, but usually, older stock. Amazon stocks some too but the prices are higher I think x

You're the first person to say that they didn't like the darker burgundy/rust color on the In Bloom design last year, and that was my exact same reason for not loving it.

Once you're finished with the planner, you can take out the divider pages and frame them and put them on your walls!

Yes for sure. They recommend wet erase though because dry erase all just come off onto your page.
