2026 PLEASE ONE MORE REFRESH BRING OUT THE NEW 2025 YUKON AND ITS XL CLUSTER SO IS ONE MORE INTERIOR REDESIGN TOO!!😢😢 2026 Silverado/Sierra 1500 and 2027 HD - Features and Updates 1. Facelift/Refresh (2026 1500 and 2027 HD) LTD Edition (or New Model Name): For 2026, the Silverado/Sierra 1500 will be sold as a separate model under an LTD (Limited) edition or a completely new nameplate, distinct from the existing T1XX lineup. This mirrors the approach taken with the GMT800 and GMT900 generations, where the 1500HD had its own identity, separate from the rest of the lineup. The new LTD nameplate will establish a unique position for the 1500 and HD trucks, ensuring they have a distinguished, premium feel for customers who want something special. Design Evolution: The goal for the 2026 refresh is to refine the overall design without radically changing the core GM truck identity. The LED headlights and taillights will be updated to a more modern, refined shape, but without becoming too aggressive or overly stylized-keeping them in line with GM’s more traditional design language. 2. Exterior and Tires LED Headlights & Taillights: The LED headlights and taillights will be updated with a cleaner, more modern shape, while maintaining a design that feels classic and familiar to GM’s truck lineup. This update will keep the trucks looking contemporary without taking the design too far into aggressive, polarizing territory. Splash Guards: Splash guards will be standard across all trims, offering practical protection against dirt and debris while giving the truck a more rugged look. Rear Wheel Well Liners: Rear wheel well liners will be standard on all HD models, offering added protection and helping to maintain a more high-quality appearance. White-Letter Tires: White-letter tires will be available in 17", 18", and 20" sizes, with options from Goodyear and Michelin. Outlined white-letter tires will be available in 17" and 20" sizes, bringing a rugged yet premium appearance. Door Handle Options: LT/SLE: Options for black plastic or body-colored handles. LTZ/SLT: Options for body-colored or chrome handles to enhance the premium feel. Wheel Lip Moldings: Wheel lip moldings will be standard on all trims above the Custom trim, ensuring that the trucks look finished and rugged at the same time. Color Options: Sterling Gray (Chevy) and Sterling Metallic (GMC) will be available for the two-tone bottom on LT/SLE and LTZ/SLT trims. Brown, Bronze, or Tan accents will be offered for LTZ/SLT trims and above. 3. Engine and Performance Updates 7500HD: The 7500HD will offer both big-block gas and diesel engine options, providing the ultimate performance for customers who need the highest towing and hauling capabilities. The 7500HD will be designed as a chassis cab-only model, targeting customers who require heavy-duty work truck capabilities, such as contractors and fleet buyers. Heavy-Duty Engine Lineup: Gas HD Models: The 6.6L V8 gas engine will remain the mainstay for the gas-powered HD models, providing ample towing capacity and a high-performance driving experience. These trucks will feature 100 MPH speedometers and have a 7000 RPM maximum value for the engine’s rev range. Diesel HD Models: The 6.6L diesel engine will continue as the primary engine option for diesel HD models, with a potential 8.3L diesel engine available for even more power and torque. These models will feature 100 MPH speedometers, with the gas models reaching 5000 RPM and diesel big-block models reaching 6000 RPM. 4. Trim and Configuration Options Regular Cab Configurations: Regular Cab will be available for all trims, except for High Country, High Country Deluxe, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trims, which will continue to focus on the premium market with crew cab and extended cab configurations. New "High Country Deluxe" Trim: A new “High Country Deluxe” trim will be introduced, offering blacked-out accents and more luxury features compared to the standard High Country, allowing buyers to get a more exclusive, premium version of the Silverado. Riptide Blue: The Riptide Blue color will be available across most trims, including Silverado 1500 and HD models. However, it will be excluded from the High Country and High Country Deluxe trims. For the GMC Sierra, a slightly different version of Riptide Blue will be available, giving it a unique hue that is exclusive to Sierra models. This color will not be available on the Denali and Denali Ultimate trims, or on the Sierra HD models. This is reminiscent of Ford’s approach with the Velocity Blue and Atlas Blue colors offered on their Super Duty models in recent years. Unfortunately, Atlas Blue is no longer offered after 2022, which has left a gap for more vibrant blue options in the truck market. 5. Additional Features and Design Preferences Towing Mirrors: The dual-arm towing mirrors will make a comeback in the HD models, providing the traditional, heavy-duty look while improving towing capability. These mirrors will allow for greater visibility when hauling larger trailers or equipment. Heavy-Duty Design: To maintain the rugged, tough appearance of the truck, features such as wheel lip moldings, rear wheel well liners, and splash guards will be standard across all trims. The design will aim to balance refinement with strength, avoiding the overly aggressive looks seen on some recent facelifts from other brands. 6. Interior Enhancements Unified Dash Layout: The interior will adopt a streamlined dashboard layout in line with 2025+ GM SUVs, ensuring a modern, clean, and functional design across all trim levels. The dashboard will feature large screens and premium materials that align with the high-end trims. Standard Digital Clusters: All trims will come standard with digital clusters, with 13.4-inch screens or larger. This will provide a more modern tech experience, including standard navigation and integrated features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Premium Materials: The High Country Deluxe and Denali Ultimate trims will feature more luxurious materials, such as leather upholstery, wood grain accents, and premium soft-touch materials. Summary of Key Updates LTD Edition (or a new nameplate): The 2026 Silverado/Sierra 1500 will be sold under an LTD edition or a new nameplate, distinguishing it from the standard T1XX lineup, similar to the strategy of the GMT800 and GMT900 generations. LED Headlights and Taillights: Updated with a subtle, modern design, keeping GM's classic truck styling intact. Splash Guards and Rear Wheel Well Liners: Standard across all trims, enhancing protection and the truck's rugged appeal. Towing Mirrors: The return of dual-arm towing mirrors for HD models, maintaining the traditional heavy-duty look. 7500HD: A new chassis cab-only model with both gas and diesel big-block engines for extreme performance and towing capabilities. Riptide Blue: Available for most trims, with a unique version for GMC Sierra that’s exclusive to the brand. Interior Revamp: A streamlined dashboard with digital clusters and premium materials for a more modern and luxurious cabin experience.
Happy new year GMC
Wait is that a V8 option???? Wow that looks BEAUTIFUL!! I love GMC and my love just grew more!
WOW! And I thought I love my 2011 Sierra! As long as you keep making V8 gas engines, I’m interested!
THAT GEN 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
WOULD BE 10000000000X BETTER WITH K2XX BODY AND INTERIOR AND EVEN POWERTRAIN
If only the first edition Sierra EV that I got was actually working then I’d be happy but no

Thanks for letting us know, Alexander. We'll keep an eye out for that email.
@ hopefully
Rest assured, Alexander. Once an advisor receives your email, we'll be in touch. Thank you for your patience during this time.
It doesn't make sense for a truck to cost more than 100k in 2025. In 2019, 4-door trucks cost 34k and 45k.
I LOVE GMC! BUT THEIR STAFF NEEDS WORKING ON AND THEIR SERVICES! AT LEAST THE GMC IN DUBLIN CA.
