FF7 Piano Collections - Valley of the Fallen Star (6/13)

I feel like this arrangement is more of an original composition than an arrangement. It uses the melody and motifs very well to develop a nice piece, but I don't get that "canyon" feel from this rendition.
I tried a few attempts at making it sound more similar to the original, but none of my attempts felt any better, so I was mostly loyal to the sheet music.

It's a bad habit I developed which I think is explained by a combination of:
1) studying without guidance
2) having fairly small hands
3) not being punished for it since I mostly studied pieces with a lot of leaps and octaves like Liszt Etudes
Works fine as long as I treat piano as a hobby though!

thank you. I'm not sure if I'll do anything major on youtube soon, but I'll at least be playing EU4 again around November-ish probably on stream. Maybe I'll be inspired to make something for youtube as well then.
