Just wanted to say good video! It seems every content creator has a set review, but not many of them are much more than a review of the set mechanics or a long individual card grading spree. The synthesis portion though is the most useful, and it’s sad that that information usually doesn’t get pushed out until weeks into a format.
I "practiced" with draftsim for tomorrow, and I know I'm gonna get disappointed 'cause there ain't no way I'm opening such quality cards IRL lol I really hope I crack some of those sweet green cards and something like Jolene and Roxanne
Love the video as always. Still worried about how these rares are still pretty powerful since we have play boosters now. I really hope every set doesn't have MoM as a template with being so Bomby now
Baron not being in traps tells me that it performed well! Definitely picking that bc I love the token/sacrifice theme with Baron and Rakish Crew as payoffs. Overall do you feel the set is slow? Another of the archetypes I hope to draft is the Rakdos Outlaws one but not sure if it goes under some decks or it's also kinda slow to use stuff like at Knifpoint
I didn’t play with or against it yet tbh! I don’t think this set is “slow” but I also think that as long as you’re keeping pace, you’re not just going to get run over without a chance. There’s a distinct lack of tricks in this set which is something I hadn’t fully grasped till I played
I think lavaspur is great if you have big creatures you want to give haste. Especially stuff like blue green since it wants you to plot big things which often makes them come in a turn late
Much prefer stuff like this over the hour plus long set reviews. I'm sure they have good info but I can't spend an hour on each color. Please do more short break downs like these.

Yep, there’s no card limit in limited, you can even have more than 4 copies of a card in your deck

No to both, if countered because it never etb'd and if fizzled also no because it never etb'd
