I find the title of this song pretty funny
Eros makes sense, being the literal God of love, but Apollo is a different story. If you look into it, you'd be surprised at just how many of Apollo's romantic interests either turned into a plant or jumped off a cliff and/or otherwise ended up dead. Just something I thought I would share....on a vid several years old...oh well!
Tam riddle it's kind of the message: the guy is a player, he is cute and all that, but in the end all the girl are going to be heartbroken. People who had experience with him would rather warn everyone to keep away. That's why Eros and Apollo.

Well Apollo is thought to be very beautiful and while he had a tragic love life that just makes his situation all that much more tantalizing to be so attractive mentally and physically yet unable to hold onto anything which you truly love. How sad.
And theres the story with Dafne, Apollo and Eros... He loved her, she didn't, he tried so much that she asked to be a tree. Poor boy.

I was around 13-14 when I first came across Studio Killers on TH-cam and i fell in love with this song. I forgot about them completely but recently heard Jenny and I'm coming back to this lovely track when I'm 19. Amazing how time flies but memories stay the same! Thank you for making this.

I think the end is her eliminating her competition, because she has also fallen for the boy, despite knowing what he does and warning everyone else.
In some parts the boy has a sun for a head,like in the loading screen. At the end she drives her car towards the horizon, towards the sun which also resembles an inescapable all attracting black hole, hinting too at his dual nature. It is a flying to close to the sun moment , which goes well with the other few Greek Mythology references, like at 1:20 Cherry resembling Aphrodite and Eros and Apollo comparisons.
I think Cherry resembling the Goddess of Love symbolizes her giving love advice and warnings about the boy , but also someone who falls in love easily and has her shortcomings with love itself,which predicts the ending as she also falls for the boy.
Apollo is a rather ambivalent character, even by Olympian standards: PROTIP the god of healing is also the god of plague

There are a lot of things about her that aren't often shown in a positive and good light(despite the fact that there isn't anything wrong with it) but for children and teenagers with body image issues, and for LGBT women, cherry is representation that they don't often get.

Chris p there are 3 people involved in the band the one known as cherry is shown here and the the other two are a minx and weasel they haven't really shown who they are through character but they have been shown in there other videos.
there's no real proof showing who the singers are. Many people say cherry's voice sounds exactly like another famous male singer, but there's no confirmation yet. There's a chance its just a woman who sounds alot like him, the man himself, another man, etc. Basically anyone. However, Cherry's speaking voice sounds very feminine and womanish, and I don't know how that male singer speaks. They could be using two people for cherry, though, but once more, no proof.

In Greek mythology, Eros and Apollo are rivals as well as alike in many ways. Apollo is notorious for seducing women with promises of gifts and love, but often abandoning them and leaving them heartbroken. Eros has only one lover, Psyche, however Eros is responsible for many sexual hijinks involving other gods. Most notably is when Eros and Apollo got into a heated feud over the bow and arrow- Apollo, being the god of archery, viewed Eros's skill with the weapon as lesser, insulting the god profusely and insisting the bow was a powerful weapon "not for little boys". Eros was extremely angered by this, but instead of enacting revenge on Apollo through physical means, he decided to use his powers to break Apollo's heart. Eros fired an arrow into a nymph named Daphne, making her disgusted by all men, and fired another arrow into Apollo, making the god enamored with the nymph. Apollo chased Daphne, trying to reason with her, but Daphne refused his advances. Eventually Daphne reached a river bank and realized she could not outrun the god, so she prayed to the earth to transform her into something Apollo wouldn't be interested in. Daphne turned into a Laurel tree, sacred to Apollo. Apollo wept and cursed Eros, taking a laurel from Daphne's branches and turning it into a crown.
Eros has many other myths where his kind, cute, loving "Cupid" side is called into question. Despite being a god of love, Eros is known for using his powers to punish people, using love as a weapon to harm them.

In this song, Eros and Apollo most likely do not play the part of actual figures the girls are chasing, but rather love itself. Cherry warns the young girls that they are still young, repeating phrases mothers often try to engrain into their daughters: don't chase boys. However, as we know, every night they fall like dominos. The girls still fall victim to Eros, fall victim to love, when they are too young to handle it. Their hearts are always broken, and even though they were heavily warned, they cannot help themselves from chasing love. They always fall victim to Eros, just like Apollo in the myths.
