    Thank you, very good comparison clearly showing a difference between the two. Both seem to be great choices for different musicians and different budgets ;-)

    Awesome.....you win.......neither Gibson nor cort....keep it up.

    The Gibson definitely has more lower mids giving it the beefier sound. The Cort has more upper mids giving it more cut and clarity. Both sound great. No winner 😂😂

      Worked and tweaked a little on the sound to be more ‘non direct’ Sir, any inputs on that pls

      @@DadRockKid I can tell the difference. I always wear headphones when I listen to TH-cam guitar stuff so it sounds good to me. Sometimes I find that dialing back the mids help a lot depending on the amp. But it can be tricky because you may lose more than you would gain. As an example you may lose some sustain and punch in favor for a tone that sits back a little. You may also try doubling your guitar track. Keep the original track untouched. Then with the copied track scoop out some midrange and add some additional reverb if your DAW has a reverb plugin. Adjust the levels of both tracks until you find the best mix. You may even add a little extra post compression the the original track as well to even it out a bit. Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head. But I think it sounds good today as well.

      Thanks a lot Sir, will experiment with that too. I live double tracking and most of my tracking for friends for their songs I double track most of the times with 2 amps and play with room mic effect of one 😊

    Hello ! Thank you for the demo !
    Do you have made a video comparing the sound of your burstbucker pro gibson vs your 57 gibson ? i'm curious to ear the different with your amp. 57 is globaly a bit more blurry in mid-low range ?

    • @DadRockKid

      Have not done that as they had different ages of strings. Changing the strings on both of them together for the first time this week. will shoot a quick sound comparison and upload next week. Thanks for the idea!

    I was going to buy 2021 Standard Gold Top but i've tried Cort CR300 and I bought it. It was not about the money, just playability was better. To compare these two you need to use real amp and cab instead of digital procesing things:) About Gisbon I still regret that I didn't buy Gibson Classic Goldtop in 2019. Greetings:)

      Guitars are not about the cost and brand attached to them. You are right my test rig for a guitar is a 5 watt tube combo

    Nice comparison. I'm considering getting the Cort CR200. Have you tried that one? Would you recommend any other guitars in 25-30k budget range? Thanks!

    • @DadRockKid
      @DadRockKid  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The cr200 is also amazing, tried it but the only issue is the pickup is not as punchy as the 300. 25-30 range is tough spot I really like the Harley bentons in that range, one notch higher is sire which is great and

    if they put better quality magnets like Seymour or Gibson how far would the guitar be from the original Gibson les Paul in your opinion?

      As it is this one has EMGs which sound sweet, there is a Cort CR custom with Duncan's (not Duncan designed) pickups and the guitar is amazing. My personal rating is these higher end CRs are 80-90% close to my Gibson's and way above epiphones or SEs
