    Thanks for this video! Super informative and helpful. Our group is headed to Tulum for the first time, and we are all really excited. We got an airbnb, but I didn't know the name of the area, And now I know we'll be staying in La Veleta👍🏽

    Lents and positive vibration: welcome all to Tulum. Great point R15 and pane and chocolate :) - Lots of regions divided from multicultural unique people, positive vibes offering many alternatives solutions for you, ( as Mary was mention) from allover the World. Many family and house need to be build and therefore great opportunity if you think to invest because no many around at the moment. Food as well, from Argentina, Italian, some Greek as well and of course the authentic Mexican cousin from different region as well. Stay safe and enjoy, here you can surrender and appreciate nature:) ciao all, and thank you Mary for sharing a wonderful feedback.

    A great video! I've been to Tulum a few times in 2021 and 2022 but mainly stayed near Playa Paraiso. Out of first 3 places you mentioned, which one is the best in terms of speed connection and safety? Are there still a lot of expats there?
    Back in 2021 and 22, I had some internet issues and would like to know if it has gotten better. :) Thanks

      La Veleta & Aldea have been going through a lot of power outages lately, I would aim for Kukulkan to be on the safe side if your main goal is stable wifi.
      If you don’t mind it being a bit unstable here and there, I would recommend you chose a calmer or more quiet neighbourhood, but go to coffee shops like Alfonsina or even Nimeno for high speed internet ❤️

    • @davida9604
      @davida9604 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the reply. I am actually looking for something peaceful but at the same time close to coffee shops if that makes sense :) When you said "a calmer and more quite neighborhood", which place you were referring to? Sorry, I didn't get that part @@MariannaTeudor

    • @MariannaTeudor

    Tulum is a tale of 2 cities. One is Centro, the other seems like 10 miles away, the beach. What an over expensive place to live.

    I'm coming to Tulum for 3 months in May. Im looking at places and I'm torn between la valeta and Aldea Zama. I think the vibe of la valeta excites me, but the infratructure of Aldea is what im looking for.. (?). I will be working from my laptop 9-5 so my biggest concern is the internet and power outtages. Does one area have more or less than the other?

    • @Tulum.Insider.Society
      @Tulum.Insider.Society  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hey Dustin! ✨
      For reliable 9-5 remote work, Aldea Zama wins with better power/internet stability (especially near Chedraui area!). La Veleta has amazing vibes but more frequent power cuts - you'd def need a place with backup generator.
      What's your monthly budget? I know perfect spots in both areas that are remote-work friendly! 🌴
      You also should try the CoWorking Digital Jungle ✅

      @Tulum.Insider.Society Amazing! Thanks so much. I think my monthly budget is around $20,000MXN no more than that, at least for now unless I end up staying 😅

    • @Tulum.Insider.Society
      @Tulum.Insider.Society  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Viv! If you’re staying in Aldea Zama, a quieter beach I’d suggest is Playa Paraiso. It’s less crowded and just a short drive or bike ride away.
      If you’d like more specific walking-friendly beach recommendations or need help organizing transport, we can create a custom itinerary for your stay!

    Planning to visit over the winter but im seeing a lot of negatives relating to sewage and infrastructure issues.. apparently untreated sewage is being dumped into the ocean and seeping into groundwater from landfills.. anyone know if this is being addressed? I would think with all the new development and money coming in they would deal with these basic issues..
