Thank you for your video! We will be sailing on the Vision next fall. Do you know how someone would go about making special food requests while they are on board? For religious reasons, I only eat meat in certain scenarios. It's nice to see that they appeared to have plenty of vegetable options in case I couldn't be accommodated. :)
Hi. Thanks for the feedback and for the question. The cruise lines are becoming more aware of special dietary needs these days. In our experience over many cruises we have always found and have heard of passengers making special requests for certain food types, for religious and other reasons. When you get on board, speak to the Maitre D in the main dining room if you plan to eat most meals there. If you are dining in the Windjammer restaurant, then get hold of the head waiter or the food and beverage manager and request specifics from them. All usually accommodate specific requests. Another option is for you to contact customer services before your cruise and ask them for special dietary arrangements for your needs. they are usually pretty good at responding. Stay tuned for another video this week for the Windjammer evening dinner service. Hope that helps. Ray
Hey cruise friends and welcome back to Ray and Sue's Travel Channel. We sailed on the lovely Vision of the Seas in 2023 in the Caribbean. this was post all of the menu and food service changes on Royal Caribbean. Now we know you like a restaurant tour. So join us as we continue the ship tour with a detailed look at the Windjammer restaurant Lunch service. Please let us have any comments or questions. Enjoy.
Hi! Why didn't you video the Gluten Free sections of the Windjammer Buffet? I am traveling with two Gluten Free people next month and would love to be able to have them check that out?
Thank you for sharing, I’m sailing on Vision in October

@@kennymurray3005 you're welcome Kenny. Enjoy your lunch. Ray

Thanks for the question Cathy. At the time of filming there weren't any Gluten free items on display sadly. Ray.
