My family went on Vision of the Seas about 15 years ago for a 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise. It was so much fun. I kinda forgot what the ship looked like inside, so this was a great blast from the past. Thanks for posting!
Planning to go on the Vision in July 2023. What a helpful video, and absolutely gorgeous hostess! (How can this have 128,132 views and only 1.3K likes? Come on people, give the video some love!)
I was about 10 and went on the first trip of this ship, I'm sure it hasn't changed too much but it looks so much more luxury than it did now that I'm older
I'm going on the Symphony Of The Seas in August and i went on the Wonder Of The Seas in April so i've been binge watching tours of the Royal Caribbean ships and it's so interesting to look at the old ships and see how much has changed i do wish the newer ships had the same style of Solarium Pools i love the cultural theme and designs of The Solarium Pool on the old ships.
Please, if you have any concerns, come to Guest Services to say hello!! I'll join as crew in July 30th for a contract, and will be delighted to assist you.
So excited to see a great ship tour of this ship! We'll be sailing on her in March of 2020, heading to the Southern Caribbean. Thanks for a great little preview!
Thanks for the cool and informative tour..Excited about my upcoming Southern Caribbean Holiday cruise. I feel totally prepared to check out all those hideaways and short cuts..
Very well done video. It always seems to take a while for me to find a useful vid for a ship I'm going on, so I really appreciate the insights. Positive but with some critique and good quality of video. We are doing the 12 day Med cruise next June but it's never too early to plan. Thanks for taking the time to post.
No way! I actually booked myself on that cruise but had to cancel it because I decided I wanted to visit the cruise I used to work on instead!!! Have the best time!! So jealous!
I'm going on the Vision of the Seas in January from New Orleans to Nassau, Bahamas and I'm really excited. I have an Aunt and Uncle that have been on over 30 different cruises and she said that Vision is her favorite ship. I thought that was interesting. Thanks for the video.
Heat Miser and Snow Miser are from "A Year Without a Santa Claus". It's a 1974 Christmas movie by the production team of Rankin/Bass. The same ones that did "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. Google it, now's the time of year to see it on TV. 😉
I'll be sailing on a Vision of the Seas in 35 days (Dec. 21, 2019). I'm so glad I found this video. I particular was looking for the fitness center. I wasn't expecting to see the hot sauna and steam room. Can't wait to board this ship.
going on this older RC ship this summer 2020 and was a little worried after reading some reviews, but I feel better now after watching your video and am again as excited as when I first booked the cruise!
My Fiancé and I just booked our cruise for our honeymoon its actually the Visions of the sea we are going to charlston SC, orlando Florida, and then off to the Bahamas for 2 days. its an 8 day cruise. It's going to be our first cruise ever which we are both very excited about. I'm glad I saw this video definitley looking forward to it
We just done our Mediterranean cruise and sailed on Royal Carribean's Vision of the Seas last August this year and we really enjoyed our stay and also posted videos too in my channel of our travel adventures. And this video helped a lot cheers. :)
Great overview- thank you! I'll be on Vision in November 2020 for a Southern Caribbean 11-Day trip! We were attracted to the itinerary- several days at sea and all ports we haven't been to! My husband was inclined to book on a newer, bigger ship, but it looks like Vision has all the must-haves for him, anyway, including some basic dining options (although we are second seating regulars like you), a Schooner Bar, some shows and a couple of quiet paces to relax.
Was on this very boat last year for our 1st cruise ever. Amazing experience will do it again. I Think we were on the same itinerary as well see some of the same people. Was also on deck 7.
Great job! Sweet personality and cute as well. Thank you for all the info. Having been on over 30 cruises, I think I would like this ship. No doubt, cruising makes for a wonderful vacation experience.
We always go on Celebrity, but had to re-book this year, and go with this ship due to time and destination reasons. Doing a 12 day Barcelona to Barcelona, going all over Italy, Nice, Croatia, and Montenegro next September. Ship looks great. Thanks for video!
Thank you so much for the info. We are going on 15 day trip on this ship on Dec 1 2019. I was a little worried that we might be bored but we will see. We are an older couple and don't do a lot of those things. We are going from L.A. to the Panama Canal and end up in Miami I think.
When did you go on this cruise? Our cruise was cancelled and they’re offering this as a substitute but it’s a much smaller ship with less amenities. Did you like the ship? Was there enough to do? We are relaxed and love cruising but have never been on a ship this size.
I was going to be on the same cruise it was going to be my senior graduation trip with my grandma. It sucks that it was canceled due to the coronavirus.I’m just so sad I guess you could say were both in the same boat but I guess never literally.
Thanks for the tour. We are going on the Vision out of Barcelona on June 11 for a 12 night Mediterranean Greek Islands round trip cruise. Can’t wait to see Santorini and Rome.🤗
I was going on the same trip and super bummed that it’s canceled now how depressing. It was going to be my once in a life time senior trip. But now the world has bigger issues 😓
I am considering this cruise for june 2022, think the video is great but need some info: is going on a cruise on the Mediterranean a smart idea for visiting Spain, Italy, France and Greece? compared to going on trains and flights? money talking.. thank u.
I found it to be much cheaper to do a cruise than to travel by land/air between the countries. However the one downside is your time is limited in each spot! I still really enjoyed it. Personally I loved how long this cruise was, and I felt like I got to see a lot of different places.
Anyone else here because their trip was canceled because of coronavirus and they graduated this year and this is going to be their senior trip but now they’re never gonna get to go and the world is falling apart
I’ve never cruised with RC before though I’m an old hand on Princess. Debating a transatlantic on this ship in April of 2019. Is this ship big enough to not feel claustrophobic or bored while spending six days crossing the ocean?
I go on rci and love it..with the theatre they wont always open up much b4 and you do have to stand in line for a time.. I prefer to sit at the back anyways as you can still see everything .. I have almost gotten knocked over by ppl who run to the front.. I like the smaller ships as well, but in saying that i am going on my first larger one in 2020 to see what ive either missed or I'll not bother with next time..I think everyone should experience a larger one at least once.. thx for the vid it was great..Ive been on Rhapsody of the seas, Radiance of the Seas and Legend of the seasI( that one isnt in the fleet now though)
That's so true Sarah!!! If you aren't too picky, you can definitely show up at showtime. I'm going on my first BIG ship too in march and am curious how I will like it! Safe travels !!!
Hey! First up, thanks for sharing all this great content! I can see you are really passionate about it and it's fun to watch your documentations you put on TH-cam. Second: This question is nowhere to find on the internet. I don't live at home anymore for 5 years and moving back home in between the contracts is not possible anymore. Though this is a big topic to address isn't it? Where do you live during the time you are on land. I assume you don't keep your apartment for the time you are on the ship... That would be a total waste of money. Any suggestions?? Thanks so much! Steff
Hey Steff!! First off, thanks SO much for watching! I really appreciate it! As for what I did between contracts, I would actually live with my family or my boyfriends family during my time off. It is definitely a weird scenario for cruise ship workers, as you know. The majority of my friends also lived with family during their time off. I wish I had better advise!
Tourist to Local, what is the most elegant cruise line that spoils you but it is not boring? by the way, I love your necklace and bracelet you are wearing
This would be a great question to ask your travel agent. If you don't have one, I suggest you get one. They can be a tremendous help and they don't charge you anything for their service.
How much is the drink package over there? Same as in the US? And did they have a dinning package? Can’t seem to find prices for the 12 day Mediterranean cruise packages. Oh and spa passes for the 12 day, do they have like Carnival does?
You can get the package pre cruise for around 47 a day. The catch is that everyone in your cabin will have to get it as Well. If you wait until you get on the boat, it will be more expensive but they won’t make the rest of the cabin have it. Overall it was around 550 for a single drink package. I don’t think it was worth it. The drinks are around 10 dollars each and I really felt like I was having to drink just to get my moneys worth. Plus I think the bottles of booze were watered down.
@@TouristtoLocal thanks for the insight! We are planning on going on the Vision of the Seas and also wondering if you ever got bored on the 2 days at sea that are built into the itinerary. Thanks
This ship is pretty small, so I'd say no. The partying was VERY minimal and it's more of a family cruise. I'd say you could on a bigger Royal ship or on a Carnival ship!
Cardinals Prats Hey! Im an 19 year old guy! I have done a lot of cruises, and trust me. If you go between the time period of 10 july-31august you will have loads of friends and loads of party. Well, thats at least the case for meditarrenean cruises
Just got off a cruise on Vision and had a great time. Great video by the way. For people considering this ship, just be careful with the Royal Caribbean marketing, they use photos from the Liberty for the Vision. The Liberty is a much larger ship. For example, the Vision doesn’t have water slides in the pool. It also doesn’t have putt putt golf or bungee jumping if that’s important to you, even those they promote those amenities for this class of ship. It’s also smaller than others so there is much more movement in rough seas. All that said, we still had a great trip!
What a great tour❤️ Do you think is a great ship for a beginner? I’m looking for a ship that is not too crazy (This ship will be sailing from Puerto Rico in January 2020 and I think I wanna booked)
