Great...!!! literally, I am selected for an interview due to your valuable knowledge, Appreciate your Lecture..!! Wish you a great time ahead Love From INDIA
This is a good subneting exercise really. Things do get complex quickly once you start adding devices if you have a lot of VDIs on your network, especially if you have not studied networking. I found that an examination of the network diagram helps to give better perspective of the network when things start to get confusing - a useful tool indeed, the automatic diagram feature(not covered thus far yet). Thanks for the content, very useful. Much appreciated.
Really a well explained exercise. There is only one thing that could be improved. Your voice is at a very low level and I had to adjust the volume to really understand every word. But then, during the video, some ads appear and they are very very loud in comparison to the voice during the tutorial. It almost blew away my ears ;)
Sorry about that…this is one of my original videos…I have improved a lot since then Please let me know what you think of this one And how I can help you master Azure! th-cam.com/video/2FkB8xPYCow/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MYv7KGIxZfunsNWO
Thanks Muhammad Shafique Khuram - you can find the Networking playlist on the Playlists tab on the channel. Here is also a direct link - th-cam.com/video/uGePuL5wPX0/w-d-xo.html
@AzureAcademy i wanted to learn network from basics from your vedios but your playlist is confusing is there anyway that i will get the order of the vedios
if you want to learn Azure networking from Zero to Hero here ya go. www.tinyurl.com/AzureAcademy-Networking this playlist has all of my network related videos...don't worry about the titles...just watch them all in order and you will master Azure networking! ask questions in the video comments if you need help 😉
The answer is in how the videos are titled. In the networking playlist the first video is Azure Fundamentals #7 Virtual Networks. This is because the video is used in multiple playlists. There are no videos missing in any of the playlists. If there is a specific topic you are looking for let me know...and if I don't have it, I can create it!
Hi Dean, I'm studying this tutorial on virtual networks. I wanted to better understand what the difference is between Address space and Address range. Which of the two allows me to actually use hosts on networks? As I understand it, the address space is the space within which I can choose my subnets or the address range. So the hosts will have ip address within the subnet or at least I think. Can you help me understand?
There is NO difference between address space and address range…and neither one of them is directly used for your hosts. The address space/range is something like 10.0.0.0/16 From that space you create SUBNETS those will also have an address range that is part of the address space like 10.0.0.0/24 The VMs you build get a NIC on that subnet So you were very close…just need to use the right terms ☺️
One problem with these videos is the audio level is really low - I'm on an iMac at 100% volume just to be able to hear these videos clearly. Other videos, I have to drop my volume down to 20% (lest I get blasted). On my Win laptop - same problem.
agreed Dave...my early videos from 2 years ago are not as good as my new ones...Over time you learn how to make better content. Please check out my new stuff, and if there is something, like Networking basics that you think should be remade...please let me know 😎
@@AzureAcademy - Thanks for your hard work, for sure! I hope to create my own channel (once employed again) to teach extreme SQL queries for MSSQL eventually. It's a lot more work than I thought :)

Yeah, my early videos needed a lot of improvements...sorry for that. 😞
If you watch my recent videos I think you will find that the quality is better.
Very well explained. Thank you.
Thanks Vijay!
please check the audio on your video, it is at a very low volume for me and when the ads appear it is alarmingly loud.

Hi Dean,
Why i cant find the full series of networking
like #1 ,#2 . why it is starting with #7 and then 11 and so on?
The answer is in how the videos are titled. In the networking playlist the first video is Azure Fundamentals #7 Virtual Networks.
This is because the video is used in multiple playlists.

Great Video, what Subnet calculator you use?
That was one I got from the Microsoft store...it was AWESOME!
However, I think the vendor pulled it, because I can't find it anymore 😢
Thanks for your response.
