The new melee sword has 3 different attacks. LT for a one hit kill, RT for a decapitation, and hold RT for a lunge attack. Fyi.

This sword is pinnacle of trolling. I get so much hate for using it that I love it. Brings back the feeling of using ninja stars in search and being one hit kills after round 1.
It feels balanced enough for me and I only ran into it on Das Haus so far so less close quarters will only be better against it. I dug the forward facing finisher tbh

Dude- I’m not gonna lie- I use the dual kodachis but like I really want a katana bro- and this is like the other thing I would love as well is like a one handed broad sword like the master sword dude. That’s what I want. I don’t have multiplayer and I’m really sad it’s so difficult to get Semtex kills in warzone. But I do want this melee. I’ll just have to keep trying. I am the melee master after all. Anyway ye I’m extremely sad-
Its a fun wepon they added, but did they really need to nerf throwing knives in warzone? It’s a key piece of cod, we have no ballistic knife either, and riot shield movement is nerfed to the ground… hitting a head of a guy slidecancel and bunny jumping around is pretty hard…
Right trigger is the heavy attack that does the animation also you can pre ready it to by holding the right trigger and the left trigger is how you normal melee and it’s faster

Use L2 and there won’t be a execution
It also has a fast killing time if you don't use the execution and melee with it normally. So on the controller, you have the bumpers or triggers depending on your button setup, and pressing the right analog stick will give you the fast melee.
The first time I saw it, the guy killed me when my face was to him, and I thought he finished me in my face 😅😂

What do you suggest if you don't agree with buying the Battlepass? I am sticking to Xbox Live Gold? Unfortunately, that doesn't include any of the "Battlepass" stuff. I can still play multi-player. I just don't get those rewards from Battlepass....
Yeah it's stupid the way they do that but I'd suggest just going through the battle pass as normal and over time you'll get enough cod points to buy the battle pass it might take longer depending on how many cod points you have and each time you buy it then complete the battle pass you have enough cod points to buy the next battle pass

You can kill riot shields with the execute face to face it’s a riot shield counter

The sword also acts as a counter for Riot shield. The heavy attack ignores the riot shield even if you are right in front off it.

Bro the weird parameters they have for getting this sword in the first place I could understand. What I can't stand is why it's the only recommended melee weapon right now. I literally can't do my dailies weeklies, or camo/calling card challenges until I unlock this thing or they decide to make a different melee a recommended weapon.😢

Pro tip. Make it blue for a Minecraft diamond sword. Weeping camo is the best option for it.

@theseknivesOnly there are two seperate melee types with it one thats a execution (right trigger) and one thats like a normal melee(left trigger)

The best part about this is that it literally stops your target from firing, so if you pair this sword with double time, quick fix, high alert and scavenger your just bound to be an almost un-killable melee user
You can unlock exp and camos for locked weapons you got through bundles you just gotta edit the bundle variant. You can also just exfil from zombies with the bundle weapon to unlock its base version.
The sword i so cool though gives 2077 vibes. Wouldn't be surprised if they hired a modder to make the animations.

If you press R3 or L2 it's a normal slash attack. If you press R2 it's the finisher. Also, if you press R2 facing a riot shield player head-on, it will kill the shield player.
If you use the throwing knife and try to see the sword right after it, you can't, you have to wait like 2 seconds to be able to use the sword. That got me killed a few times.
Yo come on man, you can't do anything with warzone?? Multiplayer is cool. But only seeing these weapons perform in a gamemode I don't have/ play doesn't do much for my game knowledge.
TKO you can equip the krambit knife with other knives with the overkill vest, so you can run with the overkill vest and then equip the other knife, and to make it quicker you could equip the quick-grip gloves
Also you could name the mini execution a takedown

When I was trickshotting back in the day on MW2, I could've sworn to jebus that a dark entity spoke to me over the mic once when I hit, it said "Fancy" in the most creepy way & there was no gamertag with a mic symbol 🤣
Incase some of you don't know, whatever you're button is to fire your weapon is the melee hit that triggers the front execution( only weapon to do this). Whatever the aim button or the regular melee with the butt of the weapon is is the regular quick hit like the other melee weapons.
That is HORRIBLE tho bc the mini execute has that delay but most melee players use to fire weapon key for their melee so its REALLY bad especially on controller

I'm a ps5 and it is annoying, but at the same time though I think this was done intentionally because it's high risk and for that to happen they needed a solution to input which button to trigger the front execution. For me on my controller setup I have L1 for aim and R1 for firing the weapon so my heavy hit(front execution) is R1 and the regular melee is L1 and right thumb stick in. So yeah it's annoying but I think that was the only option that makes sense( not from my perspective but from theirs).

The SOUL RENDER SWORD is exactly what I needed
Left trigger is a regular melee. Right trigger is a kill animation. And holding right trigger allows for a lunge attack. Its pretty cool nonetheless honestly
Left trigger is normal melee. Found that out in zombies because it actually has swing delay, and that gets you killed
Coming to this video very late, but I gotta say I've been waiting for them to add a sword for too long. This thing is amazing.
