The Shimano NAS2500HGFC NASCI FC Spinning Reel is the second generation of NASCI and is Shimano's premier $100 spinning reel. I purchased the Nasci 3000 from your shop about 2 months ago after speaking to one of your employees he recommended for my St. Croix Triumph. What can I say but for $100 it doesn't get any better. I've been waiting on the restock because I just love the reel so much I need one for my new St. Croix Bass X. I'm gonna have to try to make it down there this week to check out the new generation.

How does it compare to the Fuego as a budget reel, also when will the new Sustain be released?
I’ve never used the fuego but I have the old nasci and it’s a great reel I’ve used it in saltwater for 2+ years and it’s been awesome but tbh I think it’s whatever brand you personally like more

The older generation of NASCI didn’t seem to succeed the Symetre line in my opinion, but I look forward to trying this newer generation of NASCI! Still using my green Symetre and Stradic FJ after four years, going strong.

Hard to beat the $100 Fuego

My Fuego was good while it lasted...~6 months in...opened it up to find corrosion inside. Whole thing was shot. Won't happen with the Shimano. Have a Stradic FL and Vanford for 2 years now, gettin Nasci FC next to confirm I overspent on the other 2
