I made some new friends from Belgium during my stay in Saigon. My friend from Australia was on vacation in Vietnam and we decided to meet up and all have a good night in District 1.

The name Saigon existed during the French colonialism slavery days and US propaganda occupation days. Ho Chi Minh was the man to put “Vietnam” back in the world and take back freedom and independence for the people of Vietnam. However, some people in Saigon preferred to be puppets to the white men that’s why they don’t like the name Ho Chi Minh City
