Burpees are simply brilliant if you want a lot of intensity, even if you have little time and not a lot of space available. They can be done almost anywhere, barefoot and in your underwear, just for a couple of minutes. Also, great combination of cardio and strength endurance. And so many possible variations as well. Very scaleable to your current level (like in your video!), and especially fun with a teammate 👏
I'm glad the OG 'Burpee' got it's recognition as a 'Squat Thrust'. My Rugby coach used to get us to do countless squat thrusts back in the 80's but I only heard the term 'burpee' about ten years ago; interesting?... perhaps but probably not
Thoughts on adding burpees during a speed work session for running? I do a 10-15m dash then do 5 burpees for 8 sets. Been really working my legs. I plan on increasing the distance and burpees every week. This a good workout plan for endurance and strength? I don't have weights this is all bodyweight.
I think burpees should be added to any workout 😊 But, in your case, I recommend getting all the sprints done first, then do any burpees and other endurance work after. Sprints require maximum effort. Speed, explosive power and focus. So if you don’t want to comprise the speed work, do the endurance after as a secondary part of the workout to build stamina.
This might sound crazy, but a plant-based diet high in raw fruits and vegetables can help immensely with that. It’s highly alkalinizing. What you need is to reduce the acidity and consequential inflammation in the body. You’ll find you become naturally more flexible and mobile (in general, not just for burpees) and you’ll feel less sore and stiff. It’s not a fast transition, though. Search my channel for “plant based” and you’ll find some helpful content about how to gradually make the shift. And make sure you do the half kneeling hip flexor stretch and deep squat to your best ability too. That’ll help you get the gentle burpee sooner.

Great video!! Thanks for doing this one. I loved the beginner tips at the end - that’s me.
Great video. I learned new styles of burpees here.
Great video. I was inspired by the final progressions! It was better if you included the benefits of burpee s in the video
Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind for the next one. Lately I’ve been trying to include more action, less talking 😊
Οτι κσλυτερο ! Πολλα μπραβο!😊

On level 10 we can also slap leg raise after the pull up. Holy moly.

@@MinusTheGym ah that makes sense. Thank you.
Great video. But i have a question.
How many reps and sets to lose my cardio routine? Should i do burpees everydays?
My excuse is that I don't have enough excuses.
gental burpees My adhd: Genital what?
I feel like an A hole. I can't even get through level one. I'm so stiff and generally sore all the time.
