I enjoyed this episode very much but as someone who has studied the Bhagavad Gita for nearly 20 years now, I would NOT classify it as a religious text, although I can easily see how some would feel that way about it. The lessons within the text are ever shifting and changing the further and the longer one delves into it. It is a guide for liberation. A guide for how to live a happy fulfilling life. A philosophy and so many other things. At a deep level it is almost an anti-religious text. That said I firmly believe every person alive would do well to read the Gita and try to incorporate its messages into their lives. Thank you for spending time discussing this important work. Many blessings from North America.
@@explanationforeverything Of course you woud think that. A desperate reprieve from the desperate ridicule and hate towards the braincancer that is islam. It is not based to portray atheism as something worse than any other religion, it is folly. @TheGoldenOne what do you think atheism is? It is NOT responsible for the nihilism, degeneracy, marxism and general decline of the west. Thinking so is a mistake. Atheism is simply the realization that gods do indeed NOT exist, and that is a very healthy knowledge to attain. It does not push you in either direction, thinking so is a mistake, and makes me think you don't really know what it is. You think our enemies are atheists? Most of these people are anything but, being very prone to religious thinking and belief (even if they reject christianity, for being to conservative or european). If you really think there are some merits in religion then know that none of it is exclusive to said religion. Good state of mind and habits that have been hijacked by religion should not be considered exclusive acheivments that are not attianable without religion.

Marcus, I suggest you also read The unknown life of Jesus Christ by Notovitch, Nicolas, b. 1858. The reason is, 18 out of about 30 years of Christ's life is missing from the record. There is evidence, kept by Buddhist monks, that he travelled to India during that period. If you continue your study of the Gita, you will likely discover fascinating similarities between the Vedantic strains of Hinduism and mystical forms of Christianity. The language used by Krishna is very close to that of Jesus, and the common origin becomes increasingly likely, the deeper you dig.
Yep!! Very true. I've known many blacks, Indians, and Hispanics who have the same kind of racial and cultural pride that the raysiss fArRiGhT whites have, and a lot of them say they're liberal.
Once you said that you dont like christendom and that you started reading the bible and it was all about jews in the desert so you did not like it. You should read the whole thing because it actually says alot of stuff that would change the way you view it. The bible says that the skyfather is a god of the north. Jesus says that jews are the sons of the devil the father of lies. He purged the temple of banker jews and chased them with a whip. He also says "let he who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one" His deciple said "here are two my lord" and he said "good". The bible said that god wants all races to live segregated. It says that you shall put on the armor of god and use his word as a sword. The bible says that the gods in the ancient times had children with the most beautiful of women who gave birth to giants who were heroes. It also says that god feeds the ravens and so shall you. This and much more so read the bible again. Afterward you should also read malleus maleficarum aswell as the hundred books it references. This will take a lifetime probably because only one of them the speculum maius is nearly a hundred books and has 3,5 million words. Good luck.

Walking at dawn or dusk in the winter is one my favorite things to do. If you enjoyed the snow that much, maybe come up North and try skiing!
