Video Description:
💭 In this video I explain a few reasons why I believe everyone that's considering daytrading for a living should move away from CFDs in favour of trading Futures. This is why I ultimately decided to abandon my FTMO challenge and opt for a $100k combine with @TopstepOfficial instead (not affiliated with them, just like their offer. Look them up and see for yourself).
Like and subscribe lads. More to come.

📉 Risk Disclosure: Futures trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardising ones financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Hypothetical Performance Disclosure: Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. no representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
Keep us updated about your new challenge and how it went. Good luck
I'm SO glad I found this video bro. Beginning my futures journey & was going to use FTMO but I was wondering if it was really futures
Really like your no bs approach. Subbed thanks
Appreciate that! ❤️
This video aged really well. The CFD community is now scrambling as meta quotes has been pulling licenses of unregulated brokers. My only question is what’s the leverage like on futures vs a 1:500 on an unregulated cfd broker?
Yeaaa man I’m scouring the Internet right now for info on this
1:100
Great advice I needed to hear this
Just came across your channel right now, nice one brotherly. I like your presentations.👍
Thank you brother!
very good explanation
I am with you, I started a 50K Topstep combine this week, should be fun, lets go get it!!! I did an FTMO trail , but after researching , my decision same as yours. Will be looking forward to your progress and videos, full-time trader is the goal.
Yes!! Glad to hear man, it's the right decision IMO. Just bought my $50k eval today too, let's get after it 😈
@@cammycapital Ok, update, started my Top step 50K Monday, goal was 1 contract trades, $100 per day......ended week with $624.....didnt want to put pressure on myself, want to make sure I understood how everything worked. I set it up thru Tradingview, I had been paper trading with that. Couple quirks I got worked out. I exited all my winners early, need to fix that, but I should by taking partials when I trade more contracts. I kept my stops with the losers I had, so happy with that. On to next week!
@@jaypiniella2442 update?
Howd you go?
Based on what prop firms have been going through as of recent, this video is more relevant than ever now.
Thanks for the insight here. Curious, when you mentioned the spreads with CFD brokers. I've actually found CFD FX spreads in particular to MUCH smaller than FX brokers in the US, for example. I'm assuming that maybe you haven't used US brokers for Forex?
Hey man, not too sure about FX brokers to be honest - I only trade the indexes
Next week markets are gonna be 🔥🔥
For those of you interested in getting serious about trading and getting funded to trade futures, I use and recommend Topstep. If you use my link here you'll get 20% off your trading evaluation, and help support the channel:

Do your own research as always ❤
yap! you are absolutely correct!
For now I can manage to trade cfd’s but as you said, we will have to move to real regulated markets if we want to take this profession seriously
i have had my biggest issues with cfds. futures has been thee most professional market i have ever traded and i highly recommend more people to look into futures over cfds!
@Tobi ivri very true!
That's it bro CFDs can be pretty sketch.. thanks for watching!
@@ivri_99 not necessary. You gotta check with your country SEC which broker provide legal service for trading futures. I live in asian country and CBOT, NYMEX market is accessible. And not only limited to that market. There's plenty more.
Trading futures can be costly as a starters. That's where funded companies exist. They provide you fund, and you can enter the market with your skills.
@@umiizzati21 It's not like they give you an account for free, you still need to pay the inital trading fee for the funding companies, and chances are you aren't going to pass on the first try. So this idea that you "just use your skills" is just a marketing gemmick.
I will doing the same I've been thinking about it for a year now it's time!
Hey man, best of luck, but hopefuly you wont need it :) keep the videos coming!
Appreciate that my dude!
on a $100k on TS we get 3%(trailing) DD so we are paying $100+$150 activation fees(if you pass in 1 month)=$250
(it will be $350 if you need one extra month) to get $3000 drawdown
while on FTMO we get 10%(static) DD so we are paying $600 to get $10,000 drawdown
in futures trailing drawdown will blow the account if you are on a losing streak while you get a lot of butter on fx then how futures firms are better than forex firm can you explain
Good! I make my analyse on the ES1 chart and then calculate my position based of the cfd chart. Bit of a headage haha. Trading MFF
That's a great way to do it if trading CFDs for sure!
Yeah bro. I love Nasdaq and Dow Jones. That gray area for us trading CFDs may come to am end soon. Plus having a regulated broker so I could withdrawal directly into my account versus the Bitcoin transfers. Ahh yes! I agree bro.
Facts!!
respect ur decision bro keep going
I dont think all cfd brokers trades against customers
Hey, i know im late to this Video, but is there any way to Papertrade futures? Before starting my funded trader combine i would like to test all the strategys that i applied to CFD trading with the futures.
You’re never late my friend 😏
There is indeed, I recommend you can use TradingView’s free “Paper Trading” function on the current front month chart.
Or you can also use Topsteps free trial option to get a feel for how the combine will be with their rules/platform/fees
Thank you very much for the very good info. But how do you take short positions in futures trading for example US100? I always thought that only long positions are possible here and that options have to be used for short positions. Can you perhaps say something about this?
No problem my friend! In futures you can take both long and short positions just like you can in CFDs.
In trading futures, can you do both long n short position at the same time ? Or one one direction ?
@mic1262 you cannot hedge with futures.
Good luck with your challenge next week, I'm on the brink of doing the same myself. Interesting you're using Tradovate, didn't realise you could set up that kind of thing living in NZ, I've been using CMC, who have an almost identical version of ES futures, pretty close to the CME prices. I'll have to look at that. Good luck, I'll keep looking at you're content.
Thanks man! Yes indeed CMC are good, I'd been using them for the last 3 years prior to switching to Tradovate.
Hey good video, do you can share which prop firm would you like to take to trade futures ? Once you found ,please let us know ,it will help to lot of people!
For sure man! I'm going with Topstep - check the first link in the video description my friend 😊
@@cammycapital thank you❤
Do ICT Killzones apply to the S&P500?

Hello mate hope you're doing fine.
Does Topstep accept registration from Nigeria?
I really want to switch to Futures as well. Works way better with the ICT concept.
Thanks
Hey mate! They sure do!
@@cammycapital Thanks man, I appreciate.
I'll definitely check them out.
Please I will like to know as well. I Really want to start trading futures but clueless on how to get started.
I would like to do this as well but I still don't know on which platform I should trade and with what broker.
I use Tradovate for my personal account and TopStep for funded.
I’ve used Tradovate for futures as well, and it’s a solid platform.
Planning any live sessions ?
You bet I am 😉
I'm getting my office set up for live trading sessions every Monday/Tuesday at this stage. Stay tuned
😮
If a Probfirm don t wanne pay you it makes no diffrence if the Money comes from Futures or Forex
I disagree. Most of the CFD markets are closely linked to the underlying futures market. There is not much price difference
Correct. And also for a trader that wants to succeed with prop firms, forex prop firms offer better rules than futures firms.
How is It possible to trade futures outside of the US?
Tradovate + Topstep. Video coming this week explaining it
@@cammycapital thank you mate!
look at APEX mate, much better than topset, better slip, rules, drawdown etc everything is better
Apex is pretty good, for sure, just not a fan of the unrealised drawdown + Topstep has been around longer with a better team behind them. Just my opinion 🫡
Not everything true you say and you know this you explain a market maker Broker, an ECN Broker is perfectly fine. But this is youtube and you are affiliated with topstep.
Dude what's with the BS going on with your laptop? so distracting and Unprofessional.
If you don’t like it don’t watch g
@@cammycapital Really that's your professional response?
@Miikey1 your comment is rude and unprofessional, how come d you expect a professional response?

good info and knowledge mate, had no idea about this. nice to see a Kiwi trading ICT. you have a discord or twitter?
Thanks mate! Just a Twitter at the moment, @cammycapital over there too. A Discord is definitely in the works though
Any way for us non US to trade futures?
Of course man most countries can trade futures. I’m not US based either, I use Tradovate for my personal account
