I need to say this. I did Sekigahara's story nearly last before I could do Gouto's. So the death of Ms. Morimura & who did it was VERY fresh as this tiny child was just "Huh, I WONDER who DID IT" & Gouto just outing her on it made me laugh SO HARD.
My favorite part of Nenji intelligence and background is he's a punk at a school that might not be easy to get into. Yuki mentions that if she studied better she might have gotten into the school normally and not be at the risk of failing out
Yeah Ogata at the very least displays very good critical thinking skills which felt refreshing. Because while I like delinquent characters it can get tiring when they're dumb as rocks
Honestly, my favorite part of Ogata's character is just realizing its all an act. He presents himself as the stereotypical delinquent, but his father is CEO of a large company so he's got enough money and resources to live a comfortable life. When he was younger, he was obsessed with super sentai stuff that he wanted to be one growing up (swearing to protect every girl he liked) but grew out of it. I love his story the most purely because of how personal it is. The more he dives deeper to find the truth, the more he comes to terms with himself, actualizing those childhood feelings about superhero's as a desire to go beyond his limits in order to protect his friends and the ones he loves. Ogata is best boy hands down, and the fact that he's an absolute monster with the demolisher blade makes him greater yet.
Very happy to see that this got its own spoiler cast even after GOTY 2020. This game deserves it. This game convinced me to try Yakisoba Pan as well. I live in an area that does sell it, and I understand the hype.
it's been a little over a year since I completed this game now, and that glow has not faded. It's still goddamn incredible, one of my favorites of all time.
I just finished this game and I'm glad to see a discussion on TH-cam about it with spoilers, nobody seems to want to talk about it because they don't want to spoil it for others
yeah when i finished kisaragi's story and then after leaving juru's for as late as possible seeing the same scene again but with shiba i lost my mind and pointed at the screen going "ooohhhhh shittttt you're not real"
One of my favorite battle parts in the game was fighting the final boss of the third area for 30 something minutes and getting over 2 million meta chips at the end . Felt rewarding, but a bit too rewarding
Glad you liked it. Me (Dan) and Bob were considering livestreaming a spoiler playthrough of 13 Sentinels over on our Twitch channel at some point. Link in the description if that interests you.
Yeah this game was a sleeper for me then became GOTY for 2020, and it was awesome. This game was an amazing journey, and EVERYONE's experience could be very different culminating in a very satisfying conclusion. And I wish it can come to other platforms, so I can recommend it to Everyone and not just Playstation owners. Also you know this game is special it has received a 50/40, beating DMC5 by 10 points lol
yakisoba? thats easy, its basically ramen, just with a thick clingy sauce instead of a soup, if you want instructions on how to easily make some using stuff you likely have around the house i can do that, the sauce is easy as hell to make.
I'm convinced that with my dumb ass bringing some mediocre lower-level people to last mission, she's the only reason I won on the first try. Previous mission I brought a badly-configured Ogata for G1 and a Yuku for G4... there was lots of retreating and repairing involved.
This might be the best spoilercast intro you've ever made, bravo
Thank you.
I wouldn't mind if this intro was uploaded as a separate video just so I can watch it over and over again.

I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT OKINO BEING VOICED BY ORIGINAL ASH KETCHUM
"imagine the world ending but your still trying to fill your Uber app"
Sooooooo like, most of 2020 basically lmfao
Damn why wasn't Natsuno in the intro 😔👊
It's on the Switch!
1:28:49 just got you a new subscriber.

GigaBoots fans are eating well this week.
That first minute and a half was fucking spectacular. Good shit as always lads
One of my favorite battle parts in the game was fighting the final boss of the third area for 30 something minutes and getting over 2 million meta chips at the end . Felt rewarding, but a bit too rewarding
Hell yeah!
THE ZOOMS AND CUTS IN THE INTRO ARE MAKING ME LOSE IT
Okino is still one of my favourite characters tbh
I'm so happy this game got ported to switch and i grabbed it on a whim. What an amazing experience.
Incredible video. You guys are great.

@@GigaBoots Did you guys ever do that playthrough?
#YakisobaPan
Hemborger
FUCK YEAH! LET'S GOOO!
I really really want to eat Yakisoba pan one day because of this game. I've already tried hemborger steak though so I'm already good on that end.
Made it through the last level with 92% terminal health so I feel that went well
Demolisher blade go brrrrrr.
So do Sentry guns

I feel like there is this big elephant in the room labelled "426 pretending to be Erica Aiba"
Yeah the amateur voice line was basically the only one that got to me
OH SHIT, SON!
Also opening with the best theme

13 Sentinels is peak fiction, and it's great hearing you guys talk about it
I had literally no problems with the cat lmao this is all news to me
This is the only game that I’ve platinum’ed since playstation implemented trophies.
LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOO
@32:15 “Ripping off Layer”. What is Layer/Lair?
“Ripping off layers” of the plot. Layers of your presumptions/understanding of the game are being systematically removed.
@@GigaBoots Ah, I though you were referring to a specific movie or show. 😅🤦🏻♂️
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO
Finally finished it last night. Thank you BTD crew for motivating me to play this masterpiece
I also played this on a ps5 with an oled
LETS GO NATSUNO
Shinonome lets you put out two Sentries at once which just BREAKS shit

@@alarikmarcus Yeah that last mission is a doozy tbh.
At the beginning when they talked strategies I was confused there was a strategy that wasn't "All of the sentry turrets"
@@nateputerbaugh5709 Strategy in this game is literally just dropping sentries everywhere lmao
WHAT?!?!?
