Best car I ever had!!! Mine was a 1961 Manta Ray version. I had it for 10 years mostly as a daily driver. Fun included - an air pressure difference at over 40 mph causing plastic bags stored under the drivers seat to get sucked out and stuck over your head Gearbox / engine mount failure going up hill causing the engine to tilt back and pull the accelerator cable to full throttle (on the way back from passing it’s mot) Eyes freezing shut while driving it in the winter Setting off car alarms with its duel cannon exhaust The ability to actually shoot a flame on the high street Drum brakes all round that were good for 1 light stop only before needing the adjustment wheel rolled back Top speed of 50 mph but I swear I was doing at least 150 It’s seriously was the best car I just wish I’d had the skills I have now back when I owned it
sorry mate , the Gen is better than the alt , , they do the same job , but 9 times out of ten , the voltage reg is what dies , and for a gen , that is going to be more cost-effective to swap than an entire gen ( cause thew voltage reg died in the alt
Such a weird project. Bought a car, turned out to be rotten, then built an entire new car from scratch using what from the donor car? Just the engine and transmission? Might as well have just bought a reconditioned engine and transmission instead of the donor car.
When dune buggies were all the rage so many years ago, VW Beetles were cheap. Now, as the vid title indicates (“classic car”), building a dune buggy using a valuable donor vehicle would be a ridiculous idea.
Its very sad all these superb videos are not complete.

That's one fun ride.
WD es mi programa preferido.
Hello Edd😁😁😁😁
Very cool.................... 👍👍👍👍👍
we need an electric peddle powered solar dune buggy camper with seats that fold down into a camp
Normal car in beach buggy racing:
Great. Pulling Edd Chinas content back from the grave again?
Heres the latest video from the legend himself:th-cam.com/video/STNJSqGGDW8/w-d-xo.html
Cheers for that, I was suffering from a bit of insomnia, but a short dose of Edds new show is guaranteed to help me fall asleep.
I loved watching Wheeler Dealers, but I've always thought that Edd's cosmetic repairs were often somewhat amateuristic.
Do miss Ed x
So not much of the donor car left
SUPER 👍

Kewel ride
Bad video quality, should be redone! ;-)
Kkkk
this was filmed decades ago
The prices you quote for parts are poor fantasy. The real world costs are much higher

DUNE buggy, DUNE buggy, DUNE buggy, DUNE buggy. Not beach buggy.
Call it what you want mate😂
I would have Wire wheeled nuts and bolts and oiled them .
Wish they had only one presenter, Ed!
Sloppy Work ...
